Is there any correlation between Llorente and the Jehovah cryptic?

yeah i doubt they need cash, but if they did, us buying Gomes so that they can buy Coutinho would be good.

If us buying Gomes gets Lemar and Coutinho into Barcelona it would be an even better deal (ruins transfer plans of a number of premier teams). The Gomes from a couple of years ago would be an amazing player for us and with Rose and aurier in the side we would have more than enough pace to make defenders think twice about going too far up the pitch leaving room for the ball playing midfielders Between defence and midfield.

Llorente offers us a different approach and a brute up front when things are not going right.

Exciting times ahead, I for one would be happy with the options that all of these players give despite the lack of household names.

thats the one that worries me, surely press would have had murmurs by now, the most essential signing too aside from aurier i think. ... not going to lose my shit until later though....

I don't see why. We were strong enough last season, and we've improved.

Less than twelve hours left. Has there ever been a signing for Spurs besides VDV that literally popped up out of absolutely nowhere with no ITK and no media clue this late?

If not I would assume Gray is the only possibility as he is the only ITK link we have.

If they get Llorente for 15 mil and sell Janssen for 20-25 mil, they probably still have 30 mil (factoring in NJie, Bentaleb, Fazio, Siggurdson) or so to breakeven so they have to bring in someone, right?
