This is the last year on his contract; Surely, agents don't have much leeway

Didn't see anyone post this yesterday but it pretty much conforms what we all knew anyway:
  1. Scott Nankeville ‏@nanky_yid 14h
    @jetsetyid @Gards44 @e_spurs @COYScottgMackey I want a CB JJ any chance I may get my wish? ;)

  2. The original JJetset ‏@jetsetyid Protected Tweets 13h
@nanky_yid @Gards44 @e_spurs @COYScottgMackey yes hope so as we are definitely going for 1
This was me last night I tried to dig deeper asking if it was a youth or starter/first teamer but JJ declined to reply!

I'd be over the moon with either Grease or Plank. We need a quality left winger. Despite having wingers in abundance, Townsend, Siggy, Lennon and Chadli have all failed to impress me.

Seems to be a lot going on behind the scenes. Would prefer Griezmann over Kono, but either would improve the 1st 11.

Looks like there may be quite a bit of movement in the squad, but all of it sounds to be making us stronger. The known exisiting weak links seem to be going and very solid if at times unspectacular signings coming in. Just need Poch to sprinkle some magic so the transition period isn't too bad.

Excited for the next few weeks

I love Jasper because his ITK is what most want to hear, and you can almost feel his excitement when passing on his info. It's super sweet. Saying that he's always wrong.

Apparently there are loads of legal things going on with this player...3rd party ownerships and what have you.

Didn't the Bindippers have some sort of legal hurdles that they failed to overcome when they tried to sign him in January?

Massive agent problems if you believe the ITK from West Ham

Cheers, Jay. Can't blame the agents for trying it in this case. The player is probably worth 20m in today's market. They've negotiated a very favourable release clause and want their cut. If the whole package costs us 15m, it is still a decent buy from the very limited number of games (4) that I have seen him.

Soo looks like we are replacing Sandro with Schniderlin. Siggy for either Kono or griezmann. Dawson for a young promising CB and adding a new improved LB. Gotta say that's a window of improvement.

Also swapping Sherwood for Poch(y)

Even if the only person we signed was Davies, it would be a massive summer of improvement given how often we got killed down our left side last season.

And Vorm with Friedel.

Poch targeting the right areas if we're second guessing this right.

Naughton and Rose then, I expect to be off. I think we'll struggle to sell Benny.
We may well struggle to sell Benny and as long as he doesn't upset the dressing room too much then he's worth keeping around if we have the spare squad places.

I prefer Sandro over Schneiderlin. Pochettino is a top coach. General consensus is that he makes players better so if there is little to choose between the two now, can you imagine how much better Sandro would be under his guidance?

Sandro is more than just a bad ass destroyer. He's capable of sharp, forward passes and aggressive pressing. He makes interceptions rather than tackles so he's an intelligent reader of the game and I think he's great for the dressing room.

Of course, there are issues over his injury record and the length of his contract. If those two can be resolved, I'd prefer we keep what we have in this area. Let's not make changes in areas where we have strong resources.

We are in danger of transitioning for yet another season.
