To be fair they probably look at our position practically and realise that our last few seasons show this is not a blip, it is a trend of good form.
They then look at our current playing staff and see people they would like to play with...possibly they may have been given assurances that those players will also be committing to ....and I hate to use this word the Project.

If I was a player and all loyalties aside I would rather earn 100k (interpreting JJ's mention of DL's change of heart applied to wages and other recent suggestions we would be offering Bale , Ade and Modric this sum) playing football the way we do with the spirit we do in what looks like an exiting dawn for a club, rather than the hideous stifling pressure environemt of Stamford Bridge for 150k per week.

Now speaking from the heart not the head...Look at the chance these guys would have to become the new legends, to be talked about for generations to come the way people talk about Greaves, Blanchflower, Smith, Jones, Nicholson, McKay, Perrymen, Hoddle, Ginola, Gascoigne, Klinsmaan. If that don't butter your muffin nothing will.:hump:

If we're signing someone tomorrow, the game is a great way of getting people over to sit down with Levy in the boardroom and hammer out a deal. Catch a game, under the cover of a match, camera shoots upward and sitting next to Tim, Les and Jamie is our new signing. Peter Crouch.

I know sad isnt it...hav to bear in mind I have two duaghters aged 5 and nearly 2 and a 3 month old son. All are on the season ticket witing list along with me. All have kit etc. I need the club to help me out with this indoctrination
