My fear with pedro now going to Chelsea (so out of the blue it is obviously just to piss utd off) is that utd will look at berahino as an alternative. Let's just hope the stories of them chasing mane are true as I don't know who our other options would be at this stage
Baring in mind their near obsessive compulsion to buy extravagantly expensive forwards at the moment, I'd be surprised if they were in for SB. LVG will want someone big- it's City who might table a late bid for SB to understudy Sterling. Hope not, but wouldn't trust the swines

Yep am told once/if we get the fee agreed this will happen very quickly as most of the details are already worked out.

3 still in the mix for CM. I assume due to no new name given that they are the three I have already mentioned. Again unless there are any unexpected outs that will be the extent of our business in this window.
Sorry to seem stupid but whos the 3rd with Illarramendi and Bender?

What SB and his advisors should consider most is where is Berahino going to have the most chance to develop his talent? Where will he expect to get most game time? Isn't this key? Remember Sinclair who joined Man City some time ago? He's now at Aston Villa rebuilding his career. How many games did he play for City? Does SB want to suffer the same fate? There are others…

The competition for playing spots is more fierce at City and Utd than at Spurs.

Does Berahino want to progress his career or not?

Moving to Spurs puts Berahino in a spot where he has a chance to play, and to develop a partnership, with Harry Kane that can grow this season into a strong two-some for both club and country.

Exactly. I suppose that's our selling point. We're not spending 20 odd million for a bench warmer. But City do it all the time.

I

It's Kramer but I'd say that one is far less likely than the other two.

I'm surprised it's even a remote possibility to be fair. Interestingly standard are saying Poch has gone off Bender so looks like Illaramendi has topped the list.

Lets face it though after their chairman's comments yesterday only a matter of time before the transfer request is handed in.
I'll donate 10 quid if he doesn't hand in a transfer request & I'm confident he won't because if he did he would be giving up the 5% of the transfer fee he's entitled to. Hand in a transfer request he won't get it & there's no way his agency will let that hapen

Not to be a debbie downer, but there are two sides to Poch. There is the play whomever is in form, try the youth, develop the talent side; but there is also the extreme rigidity that saw him playing his favorite XI to the point of burnout (often in two matches in a week). Once he finds a lineup, he's pretty hesitant to change it.

Man City is incredibly hard to break into, but I don't think we are just an open door either.

Do you not think that was because he didn't have the players he wanted to alternate?

If Leverkusen crash out to Lazio in the Champions League Kramer may start to look a bit more likely. Especially as they just signed Aranguiz last week.
