Well guys alot took mine meaning itk is gospel what I was meaning until things change with itk stating lloris could go I will not listen to journalists claiming he is going that was my point.

@Lufti I see your point but for a pressing style surely they need to be very sharp and not just be technically gifted?

None of the best CMs in the premiership over the last 10 years have had pace - Scholes, Gerrard, Lampard, Keane, Vieira etc etc

What is the consensus on crazy money for Lloris?

I really believe that he stays...though he may be sold by the club if the asking price is met and Plan B is in place.

It'll be a shame though, I really cant see us replacing the caliber of Hugo between the sticks.

realistically I can't see most teams paying a lot more than £20m for a keeper so crazy money has to be north of £30m

Well the two alternatives must be pretty good for Trix to say he'd be happy with any of the three - so we're not talking about inferior alternatives that's for sure - in terms of quality anyway.

A bit like Musacchio and Fazio then?

If Levy accepted any less than £60 million for Lloris I would be pissed off. We don't need to sell, especially not to our rivals.

Levy will make sure he gets the vast bulk if not all that Real pay for de Gea. Funny that indirectly it's Real again dicking on our summer.

I am working under the impression that Lloris is already a United player, that way I won't be disappointed when we are told how we couldn't stand in the way of his "dream move", how we couldn't turn down such a good fee, we sign Begovic and then we chalk it all up as "good business", we convince ourselves that United have been "Levyed" as we fall further and further away from the top clubs in this country.
