JJ did indeed call this exact scenario weeks ago. He said we would be well pleased with the players involved in stage 2...and if we get both Willian and Lamela I think we'll all be delighted.

Been out all morning and probably shouldn't share this, but I peed myself a little when I read this mornings ITK and other news stories re Willian and Lamela. Superb stuff if it comes off.

Pee does come off Johnny, I've never had any problems!! Asparagus makes it smell a bit, but never makes it stain.

We are all assuming that it is to precede the welsh bloke being sold.

Hypothetically it works for me, but what happens in one or both of them fall through... we could be potentially walking a tightrope here.

It does beg the question...

As of now would you rather:
A) Bale stayed but we signed no other attacking mids/wingers.
B) Bale goes and we add Coentrao, Lamela and Willian

I so wanted to hold on to Bale, but the optimism is starting to shift that opinion...

It does beg the question...

As of now would you rather:
A) Bale stayed but we signed no other attacking mids/wingers.
B) Bale goes and we add Coentrao, Lamela and Willian

I so wanted to hold on to Bale, but the optimism is starting to shift that opinion...

why cant we have them all? Man Shitty and Chel-C stockpile attacking players! I know we dont have their bottomless pit of money however it is a long season and we will need to rotate and add into that the time they may need to aclimatise - Lamela in particular. And if Bale is to go next summer, then this is the perfect scenario as we have quality players now who have time to develop for if/when Bale goes. If he stays beyond that then it means we have been successful and will still need the squad to consolidate our position.... Bale is our collateral in all of this and that is the game the boys upstairs are playing.

If we sign both players, it will have been a masterpiece of work by Levy ,Baldini and Lewis.

Not only does Levy stregthen the squad immeasurably, even if Bale does go we fans will be singing his praises.

Would never have thought that a month ago, Levy was more likely to have been lynched back then.

I know everybody is talking about weeing or jizzing themselves over this and that transfer scenario. And while they might be great.....this is literally the post that should make us all wee a bit. Pure brilliance.

And so good, I would plead with TSH, Chris, Rob and A&C to allow this tweet. If we give up on humor we are more animal than man.
