So Levy is going to the USA while we have a big deal for a new striker nearly but not concluded? I guess this time there is a lot of work to do at the office. Incomings and outgoings....don't like it.

Could be that they want to be there for when he puts pen to paper on his new Spurs deal - often seen as a family thing early on in someone's career and we've heard his parents are happy for him at Spurs. I actually do think this for some reason.Gards @Gards44 1m

Exactly the point I made yesterday in a post that ought to be tattoed onto the cocks of everyone who is shitting their skivvies at the thought of losing him.Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't he of had to make guarantees to EA sports and BT regarding his imminent future at Spurs?
No doubt EA would be majorly pissed off if they had several million printed FIFA covers and they were all out-dated.
Also all the advertisement and marketing BT have paid for with Bale as the face of it for the premier league, only not for him to play in it next year?
That would be a bit of a disaster for him on a marketing front.

Was told by reports (AVB?) that he wasn't due to be back training until Wednesday.
Hopefully it's to put pen to paper once and for all. Sign the friggin' £170k a week deal will ya, minus the box costs (of course!).
Flying East to West is a lot easier than vice versa, plus he hardly flew cattle-class.Right, not poo pooing Gards info however - Sandro posted a pic on Instagram 5 hours ago saying "good morning I'm home", so I will assume the spurs entourage landed in Blighty at about 6.45 ish this morning. Now a direct flight back from Hong Kong is around 13 and half hours. Do we hunk Bale will be rocking up at the training ground, he is gonna be cream crackered! Considering they are 7 hours ahead over there is is gonna be jet lagged, well one assumes.
If the other ITK is to be believed, that Levy is leaving the country, who would Bale/parents/agent be going to see, if this is for crunch talks then Levy would be required surely??
Just call me Sherlock
Yeah, none of the signs this summer would make you think a move was being considered by him, his agent or the club.
Added to that his quotes where he wants to 'continue to improve' under AVB, and talking about getting us back into the top 4 this season.
The only thing that is strange about the overwhelming evidence that he's staying, is the fact he won't come and and say it directly.
I would assume that they've gone to see the club Media officer to get some advice on how best to handle all of the spurious noise that's come up in the last few days.
Not unreasonable to try and protect himself, his family and his brand from any unnecessary abuse no matter the outcome.
