Dare we dream and wake up to ITK regarding Lloris and Moutinho :O If these two deals can be pulled off in the next 2 weeks or so I will be highly impressed with DL and AVB already. Such a promising window for spurs I wonder if DL's alarm tone every morning is "eryday I'm hustlin" can ITK please comment??

Interesting negotiating tactic from DL there, is that the secret to his successful deals???

Just listened to Brad friedel on talksport he was excellent. Was asked about Lloris and replied that he was employed by the club and would do what ever was asked of him should that be 2nd or 3rd choice.

Was asked about Harry and while saying he was shocked he said he did not know what went on in the boardroom and thought the club did well to appoint someone with ambition and was impressed so far with AVB.

Commented on Luca going by saying if he was to go then he was sure the club would have a replacement waiting to come in.

Although i find it difficult to get to excited about the new season because i dont rate the manager Brad reckons the fans should be very happy with what is happening and be looking forward to the season ahead.

Very much hoping he is right and i am proved wrong about the manager. COYS

To be fair he was asked directly about competition for his place because of the Lloris links. After hearing him I really hope he stays in our squad though, can only be a good influence.

Credit to Journalist, I thought he was crazy about Lloris at the beginning of the summer. Never thought it would even get this close. While Lloris has flaws, his potential is out of this world.

Gerrard is England captain. I think Parker had it for one game under Pearce so doesn't really count. The media think Gerrard is great again, even though I thought he was just ok in the Euros.

To reiterate what others have said, Brad came across very well on TalkSport and I liked how he highlighted the drive and ambition of AVB.

Encouraging about Lloris and i'm hoping that we can tie up his signature along with maybe Adebayor's and Moutinho's before we leave for the US - that would be absolutely fantastic!

Brad is also a great servant to the club and i hope he stays on as i think he is a great keeper to have in the squad, his record speaks for himself.
