Seems like Muntari moves every window.

I'd actually be happy with Carroll for Defoe, I think Carroll would be much better in our system than Liverpool's. We actually cross the ball. I thought he was pretty good against Man Utd on the weekend but had no support. Having him and Ade as choices for the hold up striker for our great attacking midfielders would be great squad depth. The lad's been horribly mismanaged at Liverpool but he's still good in the air with decent technique and shooting - I think he'll still come good, at the right club. Bale + Carroll is quite intriguing...

As my ITk said harry does not want defoe to leave!!! And he has heard nothing about him leaving! This does seem just to be a rumour!

Unlike the saha deal that looks like it could happen! But as i said he is deffo our back up option!!

Yeah I think the Defoe thing is rubbish and if Liverpool are sniffing then it is in an attempt to weaken us and strengthen themselves, in which case they can jog on.

Unless of course we have some major coup lined up and ready to go.

In short, it's BS.

Harry must be going cold turkey, stuck in court, missing out on all the, ahem, 'wheeling and dealing'!

Maybe he's logged on here to stay in the loop!

Pav out for Saha, fine short term. JD for Saha would fill me with anger. JD for Carrol stil fills me with anger. We should never strengthen our rivals!

All our deals lately look to be short term. Loans and older players. I am starting to think ENIC don't want to spend any money at all and once the new stadium is secured, they're going to sell and leave the new owner deal with the players we need to sign.

Don't understand shipping Corluka and Smith out on loan. No back up. I like the look of Smith kid, the little I've seen of him.

I read Leeds have signed Smith on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent signing in the Summer

Couldn't have got that any more wrong:

"Andy Carroll's woes at Liverpool continued with a poor display in the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City, but statistically he is at the club that suits his game the most. Liverpool attempt 30 crosses per match in the Premier League this season, more than any other – Everton are next on 27 per match, with Manchester United on 26."

The only reason i can see the Defoe rumour having legs is that they seem to be alright with paying way over the odds for english players.

If they offered us £20m for him, i can't see Levy saying no and if Liverpool told Defoe he would be a regular starter then he'd be up for it.

At which point doing a deal, providing we can get in a replacement (£20m off to Inter for Leandro?) would make a lot of sense IMO.

Ask a Liverpool fan how good those crosses actually are... not that ours are really much better now Bale goes a' wanderin'.

Where does it mention a permanant deal ? I am sure Leeds would like it but would we ?

Rumours that the Smith deal includes a recall clause, but no reliable source

Why the fuck would Defoe go to Liverpool? Alright he's not a week in week out starter with us, but next year, with Champs League, he's going to get loads of chances.

Or he could start the Europa ties with Liverpool

Dunno if its been officially mentioned but Duncan Castles has said Leeds have an option to buy. Its a twitter link so I'm not gonna post it here.

if u say saha is only back and that we are talking to another striker and agent that must mean we have agreed fee of some sort or loan deal with that supposed player and club which in my mind means its only a formality cos what club no matter how big or small enter talks with a player and only find out they cant pay shit towards wage!! exactly

personally i love ur itk and its positive but ill be shocked if its not saha we sign and even more shocked if in fact we are actually talking to another striker
