So now we are not getting Paulinho? ? ?

o_O

I cant see where he says we are not getting Paulinho at all.
What was posted sounds more like an opinion that it could go the same way as Oscar but he doubts that the quotes are true

Not player realted but Billy White on COYS on our new shirt sponsor:
Sponsor will be Hewlett Packard. Unsure of how long a contract.

BW

Back to the old days then but hey the logo is the right colour

this does not have the feel of a 'bumper deal' that will swell the coffers..............more of a stop gap

Isn't Aurasma owned by HP anyway? So I guess the terms may be similar. Anybody know how much the current deal was worth?

Is the Investec deal still in place?

POTL:

More good work from Franco whilst in Brazil (back now) on the Villa deal. Tevez going to Juve has strengthened our chances as this means the Higuain deal to Arsenal looks likely which effectively rules them out of DV. As mentioned much work has gone into this deal over the past few months, as much as we can do has been done now- up to the player to decide. Would be a fantastic signing for the club.

Good news for us on Villa however i can't help thinking Arsenal are getting a potentially better deal in Higuain. He's a lot younger and with the rest of their squad i really fear they could be back challenging at the top and we really need to get something going to get in on the top 5

I wonder what baldini can actually do or say to convince DV to sign. We've been negotiating for months without him... What difference can baldini make??? Hopefully POTL is right and DV becomes a fellow yid.

Oh well, seems like we are trying our best.

The main thing is we move on quickly if these guys start stalling.

ITK a-flowing.

Roger Morgan ITK intriguing but nothing more, I'm pretty sure the quotes are cooked up or representative, but that's not the point; it looked like media management to me. And POTL? Surely Villa has no more appealing option now?

All looks very, very promising

HP did buy our current sponsors for somewhere in the region of £6billion so they have money but it certainly looks like a stop-gap to the stadium sponsorship deal

This cannot be stressed enough, would be an absolutely superb piece of business if it comes off.

We got to seal it up quick... and afterwhich City hijack Higuain and the scums can only sign Saha

Would everyone be happy going into the season with our current squad and the additions of Villa and Paulinho, or would we expect one or two more signings?

It sounds like we are doing everything within our means to get these players signed up.

At the end of the day if a bigger club, or a club with loads of filthy oil money, comes in for Paulinho or for Villa then there is really nothing that Spurs can do, but it does look like Levy and Baldini are doing everything that they can.

The Hewlett Packard logo is now just effectively a fancy 'hp' looking logo in a small blue border rather than the complete words. Should look pretty good with our kit.

I think we definitely need at least one more: someone who can play on the wing/wide forward (depending on whether we're going 4-3-3 or not). And if AVB doesn't trust Benny, then we really do need to sell and get someone in there, rather than using Verts as a makeshift.

I think they have a little more clout than that. But i agree we need to move as quick as we can on both major signings. I'd still like to see a young up and coming striker as well with maybe defoe on his bike. Time will tell im sure. Oh and a left back!

I would, with Bale on board
hopefully Kaboul and Sandro coming back successfully from their VERY long term injuries, these 2 are 50/50 in my opinion
