If we're buying De Ligt and moving to a back 3 then Dier needs to be one of the 3. I thought we looked horrible when he was being used as a DM with Toby/Verts/Sanchez behind him.

We also need to sell Trippier and Davies if we're doing that. Neither are wingbacks and the formation won't work with them in it.

Poch wants a new deal with a significant pay rise to put him on a par with best paid managers in the league. The uncertainty is also holding up other contract deals as everyone waits to see how it plays out.

At the same time, Poch wants assurances on getting the funds/targets he's been promised but Levy is playing his usual tricks. Let's hope the goalposts at NWHL are concreted in place.

Levy: Everything is going great, we should continue this.
Also Levy: Burn it all down and rebuild it again. Be the god you were meant to be! Muhahaha

1.Levy would be bloody daft to even think twice, not just about keeping Poch but also due to the knock on effects.
2.Levy isn't daft.
3.Seems like very odd timing to have all this rumbling on.

Fair play to Poch I'd say. After all his good work he should be able to force the issue a bit.

Ignoring Levy's recent bonuses, he's still amongst the best paid chairmen in the league and deservedly so. The same 100% applies to Poch.

Levy would be mad to let what is basically his wet dream of a manager go.

The assurances on the signings could be the tricky thing, depends how achievable they are.

3.Levy is a stubborn **** who likes not only to have his cake but is also partial to eating it.

I'm ready for some good news with exciting transfer prospects and players who are happy. I know this transfer window isn't going to be all bad updates but I'm ready for some optimism.

Good for him. Both valid requests. I do hope he has enshrined both questions within a Marxist theoretical framework. Like to think our Chairman and Manager spend hours in each company arguing the pros and cons of Capitalist modes of production following the weekly team performance updates.

Cannot believe Daniel would let anything get in the way of the positive news about moving to NWHL.

If there are issues sure they will be sorted quickly - Levy cannot afford to jeopardise the project

I'm sure they are in dialog all the time but the "goalpost" thing was kind of interesting. Poch keeps saying they are a head of the project and maybe he therefore thinks the way to go forward is to invest more and harder now instead of waiting (it seems like we were planning to spend some cash this summer anyway to arrive good in the new stadium). The itk here have said we have a pretty good budget this window. Exciting times. On the other hand: Poch may have an unrealistic vision compared to whats reality (that goalpost thing again) but i doubt it. We'll be alright.
