The 3 that don't go for me
Delph
Wilshere
Sturridge

Delph is injured, Wilshere is a **** and I just like Rashford and his movement and Sturridge is bound to get injured.

Would feel more confident bringing on Townsend in a game where we needed a goal than bringing on Barkley that's for sure.

Cant really see a circumstance where he plays TBH.

Firstly, that's obviously incorrect. Secondly, if you look at the goals scored by almost every international player, due to the nature of the qualifying for tournaments, you'll see that the it's the same for everyone.
Of course, but Rooney's been shite in major tournaments. People think he's been great because he's scored lost of goals against the minnows. But any good striker scores goals against smaller teams. It's tournament finals that sorts the great from the average and sorry but Rooney has been bang average in finals tournaments.

You might want to go and have a look at Lineker's record. Rooney's barely scored against a top side (even in friendlies) despite playing in 3 World Cups tournaments and the Euro's. Lineker was scoring hat tricks and a winning golden boot in a WC tournament and scoring goals against Germany in WC semi finals. Rooney's not in Lineker's, Greaves or Charlton's league. Flat track bully of the highest order.

Rooney has scored once in 3 WC finals (11 games). Lineker scored 10 in 2 WC finals (12 games).

Rooney has been an abject failure in tournament football despite being England's highest ever goal scorer.

Wilshere will definitely go but he shouldnt. Woy will probably start him actually. Sturridge will also definitely go.

Wow Rooney was slow to make that decision. Barkley was in on goal or at least had a wide open shot but Rooney had no clue what to do.

Agree with wilshere but he is still a ****. I think Sturridge is a risk. Just think Rashford is going to be a real surprise package - rate him highly.

I know Townsend is unlikely to go but he should be on the plane.

Rooney has scored 6 goals in tournament football. Scoring 4 in the 04 Euros, and 1 a piece in the '12 Euros and '14 WC. He has 6 in 17 tournament games. So less than 1 in 3. However the numbers are very skewed as he has 2 goals in 15 games(more than 1 in 7) since those 2 goal games in 2004. So yes, very much a disappointment.
