So now a few things are settling I thought it was worth a thread for where we want this window to end up.

This is where I think I am but it definitely wasn't easy, even with Football Manager style turnover in the squad.

While I think that's a crazily strong squad, I'm not sure ever after that I know what my starting 11 is.
We probably are too overloaded with wide attackers how I've left this so maybe Bergwijn goes too.

Which of the rumoured players do you want and how do you fit them in?

Just to make it clear (before A&C kills me!), while this is a bit of a wishlist thread, it's not really for tons of discussion. Post your squad but don't engage in endless discussion of it.

Love this all apart from I think we need a better option at RWF and RB. Don’t think Tanganga is a RB think he should be a CB or sold if not rated enough there.

I’d mabye keep Dier as a squad player and then have Tomiyasu as our RB rotating with Doherty.

RWF I’d love Traore just for fun.

my squad would be something like:

Lloris
Gollini
Whiteman

Tomiyasu
Doherty

Kounde
Romero
Rodon
Dier

Regullion
Sessengon

PEH
Skipp

Lo celso
Ndombele

Dele
Damagaard

Traore
Lucas/Bergwijn

Vlahovic
Ings

Son
Gil

Hard to argue with anything from the OP, I'd be very happy with that.

My wish list would probably only slightly different:

GK: Lloris, Gollini
RB: Doherty, Aarons (or another real RB prospect, not a moved CB)
CB: Romero, Kounde, Rodon, Dier, Tanganga
LB: Sessegnon, Reguilon
CM: Skipp, Lo Celso, Ndombele, John, Hojbjerg
CAM/Wingers: Dele, Lucas, Bergwijn, Gil, Son, Damsgaard/Madueke
ST: Ings, Vlahovic

In:
Gollini Loan Free
Aarons 25m
Romero 45m
Kounde 55m
Gil 20m
Ings 20m
Vlahovic 40m
Damsgaard/Madueke 30m
---
235m

Out:
Hart Free
Alderweireld 5m
CCV 5m
Davies 8m
Winks 15m
Sissoko 5m
Kane 150m
Lamela Free (Exchange Gil)
Sanchez 25m
Aurier 10m
Foyth 12m
---
235m

Not saying the transfer fees are on point and sometimes probably a bit far off, just as an easy comparision how the full overhaul could be financed somehow. And if some incomes need 5-10m more, give it a little net spend ;)

If we sell Kane and still have Lucas at RW and Doherty at RB we'll have failed imo. This would be mine as I don't think Kane will go now Grealish is off to City.

Lloris Gollini Whiteman

Doherty Tomiyasu
Romero
Lacroix Rodon Tanganga Davies
Reguilon Sessegnon

Skipp Hojbjerg
Ndombele GLC Dele Aouar

Bergwijn Madueke Son Gil
Vlahovic
Kane

Assuming Tomiyasu is basically done, I think Vlahovic should be the priority now regardless of the Kane situ, then another CB to play alongside Romero and a RW to replace Lucas. Aouar or someone similar would be the icing on the cake but don't think a CM is likely tbh.

Amazed it's 2021 and people are putting Alli in the first 11.

I want to give Ruud Dele a chance before writing him off but Damsgaard is definitely there as the long-term AM prospect.

I think the below is what is likely rather than desired. In reality RWF and CM probably need some sort of upgrade but a lot to achieve in one window after substantial outlays on Romero and (potentially) Vlahovic

In:
- Gollini
- Gil
- Romero
- Tomiyasu
- Milenkovic
- Vlahovic

Out:
- Hart
- Foyth
- Lamela
- Sissoko
- Sanchez
- Aurier
- John (loan)

Formation:
A 4231, 433 hybrid depending on whether in/out of possession.

Could only select 1 alternate per position but I think some of the names shown would cover multiple.

As much as a I laughed at his potential/cost a couple of season ago, it would be nice to try and go for someone like Bellingham whilst the conditions are potentially favourable.

Added bonus is that it would surely block any Haaland move this summer.

Dare I say, instead of Damsgaard...

Bit of flex, we could go after a more attacking RB and go with Tomiyasu at CB if we don’t get a natural LCB. If Kane goes, Ings to replace him and use any excess cash to upgrade Moura/Bergwijn. Madueke would be an interesting option.
Tanganga can cover most of defence.

Feel like right wing would be our weakest area but I don't really see many right wingers we are linked to plus Lucas seems to be the main man in pre season so I think he will stick with him.

I don't really want Traore....although he has blistering pace and scares opposition, his end product is shocking.
