Seems a bit defensive, but I want both skipp and hoijberg pressing high with the full backs pushed up.

Alright, I’ll put everyone out of their misery and post the correct lineup. ?

05065734-A227-4E67-BE19-A7B5F2D151A3.jpeg

You’lll notice I’ve given options in a few cases where a) I can’t decide or b) it’s a centre back and they’re boring. I will accept any of these options without burning down the stadium.

Sooo… Fabio needs to get cracking…

OUT:

Sanchez… quite rubbish really
Tweedle Dier…. *snigger* Must swallow a LOT of flies.
Tweedle Dele… strengths: off the ball runs; weaknesses: playing football
The Winks-Sissoko Complex
CCV
Doherty… well done guys, great signing.
Davies… My favourite Spurs player as he’s an recognisable actual human being and dry humoured… but he is again really quite rubbish.
Aurier
Bergwijjn… I just can’t be bothered anymore, he’s annoying. And ajax have tons of players we could really do a swap for, Antony, Mohammed Kudus, Mazraoui.
Lucas… miles better footballer than any of the above but old and if it would fund some of the guys I‘m demanding.

IN:

Vlahovic… looks well good. Like if Kane was a natural 9. And bigger.

Scamacca: someone mentioned him so I looked on YouTube for 30 seconds. Now believe him to be the best striker ever and want more than Vlahovic. Not even lying.

Antony: RWF I thought about a lot. We have Gil who I think it would be idiotic to play on the left. This guy is unbelievable. Left footed. Probably the most talented dribbler in world football that I’ve seen anyway, and my team is second to none. He’s really quick too. Shooting’s a bit Meh though.

Lee Kang-In: My heart says this guy. He’s an UNBELIEVABLE talent. Not justthe best young Asian player (a fair bit better than kubo imo) but one of the most talented young players around anywhere. Bases his game on maradona and plays like him… amazing dribbling, control, vision, passing range, flair, shooting and really feisty. He’s a bit fat and slow though. Of course I also love k drama and sonny and this would be pretty much a dream for me. Aigooo. Oh yeah,.. left footed too. He doesn’t want to stay at Valencia and will go cheaply as end of contract.

Damsgaard: alright I’ve typed quite a lot now so I can’t be arsed punctuating. This bloke I wasn’t sure about but had a look at stats and videos last night. He’s pretty rapid, great dribbler, great passing, great shooting and determined Despite being weedy. I’ve seen people say he doesn’t score enough… here’s my take on that: it’s definitely important but… the single most neglected facet of football when analysing fprwards’ output is which side they’re played on and which is their main foot. It amazes me how people never mention this. Sancho… fantastic off the left for Dortmund loads of goals and assists… utterly anonymous for England. His whole game is erased by sticking him in a position where he has nowhere to go and where all of his strengths are useless. Over the years I’ve seen this with so many players. Even Eriksen had a good scoring record I think as a lwf for ajax. Anyway… damsgaard’s poor goals record is mostly in subs appearances and in positions you shouldn’t be expecting goals from. From LWF I think he has 3 in 3 and assists to boot. Which is practically all his goals.

way too tired now. Help me. Err. Oh yeah…

Sabitzer: Obviously the guy we need. For me outside of sorting a kane replacement Sabitzer and Romero are the two signing who will fundamentally lift our team to another level. His passing range is amazing, scores tons of goals, has teh natural instinct to pass unlike the rest of our midfield barring skipp, and he works hard. He’s also become a real leader on the pitch. We could play him Skipp and Hojbjerg and have three captains in the middle of the park. Just entering the prime of his career. End of contract. Cheap apparently

Romero: obv

tomiyasu: I love Japan. The end. Plus he can double as backup dmf Which we’ll need if we play Skipp Hojbjerg tigether at times

Aarons: english. Good. mazraoui another option from ajax Who Can also play midfield and is right at the end of his contract available very cheap apparently

I really don’t care about the other centre back anymore. Lacroix looks great but apparently rubbish in the air. Kounde is apparently good in the air but I don’t know.. he’s fucking little isn’t he. Not sure anyone really knows how that’ll pan out here. Also don’t think he looks amazing. On YouTube, I know. Ridiculous price. Err… I put badiashile because he’s massive fast good numbers left footed a monster in the air. Apparently he makes a lot of mistakes though. But he’s young. Botman is really slow.

Another centre back who is ridiculously talented and outperforms most big names mentioned is Loic Bade. Better on the ball than any of them amazing in the air and yiu don’t see many links to him atm.

sorry for long post. I don’t want to work.

Please pass this on to Fabio itks.

edit: oh yeah sell Kane because I don’t like him anymore

This definitely feels a bit weak but it's the best I can see with who we've been linked with. I chose Scarlett over Ings as I think that Soton won't sell to us no matter what and I didn't pick Martinez as he apparently won't come to the PL. I think our midfield is also very weak and I'd preferably sell Ndombele but that's, unfortunately, looking unlikely. The defense looks very good though.

Ins:

Aouar
Gil
Tomiyasu
Gollini
Vlahovic
Romagnoli
Romero

Outs:

Winks
Sissoko
Sanchez
Toby
Foyth
Aurier
Davies
Kane

If we sell Kane:

In: Bernardo Silva, Vlahovic, Lacroix, Tomiyasu, Bamford. Maybe one more central midfielder if we can afford it (but I'm hoping Ndombele and Lo Celso show up this season).

Out we all know

I guess that’s Ings off the table now! Not sure there’s any other Premier League proven strikers available - Abraham maybe?

Romero
Boateng
Tomiyasu
Mahrez/Bernardo Silva (part of Kane deal)
Onana (just because at £5m why not?)

If we get Romero & Tomiyasu i think Nuno will move to 5 at the back with offensive wing backs, 3 in the middle & 2 upfront.

Ins: Gollini / Gil / Romero / Kounde / Tomiyasu / Lainer / Vlahovic

Outs: Hart / Foyth / Lamela / Toby / Aurier / Davinson / Sissoko / Kane

Here is my biggest concern right now - We don't have a single CM who is a good fit for a CM3, on a contending team.

The CM3 that Nuno is running, really requires guys who have both stamina, so then can run all day, and quickness, so they can close down the ball, all over the field.

The system breaks down, when the players are not fit and quick enough - as we saw some today, with a bit of walking around from the CMs.

We have some decent CMs, but I don't think any of them fit what Nuno is trying to do. Maybe Lo Celso - but he hasn't been fit enough to show what he can do yet.

Would keep Lucas as I doubt they buy another RF. Can't see us buying 2 RB's so would try to keep Serge if possible, plus keeps Ndombele sweet. Wouldn't mind keeping Davies too as I am doubtful we sign another LB.

Here's what I'd do...

Outs:
Winks: Don't care who he goes to, just think he needs to go. Villa makes sense, probably. 18-20m.
Sissoko: Send him to Napoli or one of the Ligue 1 teams. Not looking for a big fee here. 4m.
CCV: No idea where (Maybe Newcastle?). 5m is the rumored asking price.
Doherty: No idea who would actually want this dude, but I'd do everything in my power to sell him. 8m.
Aurier: AC Milan comes calling after Dalot doesn't end up there. 8m.
Sanchez: Sounds like Sevilla want him. That's cool. 25-28m.
Kane: See ya later, asshat. 130m to City + a lot of attainable bonuses (rising to 160m).

Total Money In: Going on the low side, along with Hart, Toby, and Foyth, let's say we've raised 215m. That seems insane to me.

Ins:
Bryan Gil - LW - Sevilla: Job done. 22m.
Pierluigi Gollin - GK - Hotalanta: Another job done. Loan w/ option. No money at least right now.
Cristian Romero - CB - Hotalanta: Another job done. Holy shit I'm on a roll. 47m.
Takehiro Tomiyasu - CB/RB - Bologna: Count it. 17m
Dusan Vlahovic - CF - Fiorentina: 50m.
Maxence Lacroix - CB - Wolfsburg: Let's fix the D. 30m.
Nordi Mukiele - CB/RB - RB Leipzig: Back to the Bundesliga for a RB. This one would be a stretch with some of their sales and Sabitzer looking likely to go to Bayern. 40m.
Boubacar Kamara - CM - Marseille: Our midfield addition. Could be had way cheaper than his actual value. 15m.
Odsonne Edouard - CF - Celtic: Shit, let's use CCV to get him. 15m I think I heard is the rumored fee.

Total Spent: 230m or thereabouts.

Sell Kane and bring in Vlahovic and Hlozek, with Scarlett getting minutes at Striker and LW in the cup games. Son and Moura can also step in when needed in a 2 striker formation. Basically Kane pays for Romero, Lacroix, Vlahovic and Hlozek in this squad and the rest is paid for by players sales (Hart, Doherty, Davies, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Sissoko, Lamela) might have missed someone… I’d also keep Tanganga around as 5th CB and RB/LB cover

Minutes can also be given to the likes of Devine, John, Paskotsi etc. This would be an extremely well balanced squad with players for various formations and players that can play in various positions. This is what I’d do if we end up having to sell Kane, haven’t even considered what I’d do with him as I think it’s a forgone conclusion unfortunately

IN: Gollini, Gil, Romero, Tomiyasu, Kounde/Lacroix, Jorge Sanchez (Mexico/Club America)/Max Aarons, Renato Sanches (Lille), Madueke, Vlahovic, Karim Adeyemi (RB Salzburg)

OUT: Bale, Vinicius, Foyth, Gazzaniga, Rose, Alderweireld, Hart, Davinson, Tanganga (Loan), Dier, Aurier, Winks, Sissoko, Clarke (Loan or Sale), Kane

This would be a FIFA/FM window, but it is realistic in most, if not all, of the players would be willing to join but unrealistic in the amount of turnover for one window.
