Contracts expiring
This overview shows all players whose contracts expire in the upcoming summer, sorted by their current market value.
Looking back on this, pretty pleased that Kulusevski came in, he was one of my RW choices in the uncut post.
Bentancur I like, but I am a little concerned that he doesn’t offer anything our current options don’t. I would’ve preferred someone who attack the box, but we’ll see. He’s a good player.
I’m worried about the lack of a new RWB as I don’t think our current options have the attacking threat needed for Conte’s system.
Not bringing in a CB this window is fine, honestly. With only one competition to play in, and no one going out, an injury crisis isn’t too worrying. Touchwood.
As I play too much football manager so my dream window based upon us being in champions league and working on the basis we get the buyout fees for Gio ndombele

Gvardiol one of the player linked by Mike Mcgrath - my top LCB choice for the summer window
His agent Andy Bara told in a podcast that, there was a club which came in for him in Jan with 60m€.
"We could have easily sold him now for 60 million euros, but Leipzig didn’t even want to talk about it;We put the offer on the table for them (Leipzig), but they didn’t even want to look at it.". He did not want to reveal which club was willing to pay 60 million euros for Gvardiol:.
"I do not want to put anyone in the club in question in an awkward position.”
Should have been a PL club - Chelsea is the only club in for a CB or may be LB replacement but they have not been linked to him yet. Wonder, if this is us given the link

Sessegnon - Not improving. Got be loaned or sold - 15m
Rodon - No point in keeping him, if we are not going to play him - 12m

He is a punt worth taking for 20m for 2nd striker role. This is the profile we should look for - young hungry striker who can play as well as score at will

I know my striker choice is bit left field - I feel more important hole is to fill the LCB, RWB , LWB. But then , if we get a Dybala on free it make sense to bring a forward like Brereton. I am fully on board with him - i see him like Ings in style. He would be sort of player who will go to another club in summer and score lot of PL goals and then we regret that why we didnt go for him. IMO, he gives a good balance to overall squad.

Out: rodon, doherty, gollini, winks, bergwijn (I know harsh but we need a player who is at a higher level, aka Liverpool with jota, firmino, salah, mane and now diaz) Loan: sessegnon (playing every week in prem)
Ins:
GK - Sam johnstone (if he's up for it he's be a great number 2 and hg)
CB - Badiashile or Bremer for CB (Hes brought his game to another level and has helped Torino tremendously) I still think we need two, one to cover dier/take his place and one for davies
LCB - Botman or unrealistically Bastoni
RWB - Jeremie frimpong/baku
LWB - Cornet -with Sessegnon loaned out I would buy maxwell Cornet. Especailly if Burnley get relegated. I believe he's played there this season and has a knack of beating players and has scored some nice goals.
CM- Neves has to be it for me. Apparently Arsenal want him, though wouldn't be cheap I think he can play that Brozovic role Conte had him playing at Inter. Has creativity, can score, spray the ball, is insanely smart and the right age.
ST - Oshimen...if he wants another similar to Lukaku you can't look further and apparently is up for sale this summer. Big, strong, fast Conte could work with him to really be his next Lukaku. He was causing Leicester all kinds of problems when they played in Europa and scored twice on them.
RW - Dream of Antony (maybe bergwein plus major cash)

While not having a good overview of Europas market and talents around still trying what business I would hope for/imagine in the summer. (Probably only possible with CL)
It is going to be a very big summer. Feels like next season is our best bet under Conte so he needs to be backed properly, not only to avoid AC being unhappy.
GOALKEEPER:
1 Lloris - Great we can keep him another year
40 Austin / 41 Whiteman - Whoever is more ready for this spot
IN:
22 Johnstone / Darlow / ? - No clue who is available relatively cheap and would be interested, but the profile should in my eyes be a HG keeper who knows English football and is at least proven in some way. But the big money should go elsewhere.
OUT:
Gollini - Probably not worth the fee for a back up keeper who has not set the world alight so far.
DEFENDER:
3 Reguilon (1 Non HG in Europe)
4 Romero (2)
