A few bits and pieces possible today, and players still being offered. If I had to guess based on what I'm hearing I'd say more than likely we will end with the predicted 3 in. Lets see though because stuff is being offered that wasn't expected. We need to weigh everything up though, as regards what we think/expect we can do in the Summer. On top of that the gist is if something comes up that we can't really turn down, or a price is dropped for instance. Money is available!

The 2 Juve midfielders and who else ?

The players we have been linked to recently are more attacking players (Dembele, Bissouma) but by media rather than ITK.
It seems with all the names being offered around noone knows at the moment.

Good to hear there's potential for more than two incomings.

While the likes of Dele, Ndombele, Lo Celso are basically offering nothing right now, if we ship them out as well as loaning out Gil, Clarke, potentially Rodon, and selling Stevie, then it leaves us very light on headcount even with the two Juve boys.

It will be interesting to see how the Trinity will compare to the original reported priorities of RWB, striker and CD. The Juve boys seem to be a CM and a versatile AM so far.

Cheers Trix, it looks like we may actually finish a transfer window stronger than when we started, even if it is just the 2 Juve guys.

Also hope we successfully shift a few, who's time is up at the club. I know I shouldn't, but can't help to keep checking now to see if anyone unexpected comes in.

What we have to remember though is that it's finite and has to be spent well with the Summer also in mind. Over paying for something now will affect what we can and can't do in the Summer which will make things long term more difficult. It's definitely a juggling act.

So I guess from Trix info it's whoever we're working on, if one we were thinking of for the summer comes up or a chance of someone special.
Seems to me that leaves a fair bit of room for manoeuvre.?
Happy with what we've done and still optimistic for a bonus.?

I don't know if this is anything you know/can divulge, but presumably if we make top 4 we will have a bigger summer budget due to CL revenue. So surely its a better idea to focus on the short term and do the best possible deals today in the hope of getting top 4.

I think the issue is the best deals today might not be the better deals over all.
If the club think there will be better options in the summer we dont want to fill up the squad now and have to look to sell them again in the summer.

Possibly why we are/have been looking at loaning players in.
