His pro-Liverpool bias is/was annoying but in hindsight, given the relatively abject MOTD pundits (Danny Murphy, Jason Roberts, Jermaine Jenas and Martin Keown (!) aside) - Alan Hansen and Mark Lawrenson were ok.

So Lawro's prediction was correct.

He did. He's not often that far away with Spurs, despite the hate

And this was arguably the most guessable result of the season too. Last season was 1-1, now drawn three on the trot, our last 10 games record at Goodison is W1 D6 L3.

I did 1-1 in my predictions league, and even added my bonus ball I was so sure, and I'm terrible at predictions

currently Lawro is in a corner somewhere wanking himself over pool winning yesterday..

when he jizzes.. and despite the best efforts of his moustache to add some sanity, he'll now predict them to win PL and CL and EL by end of season

Tottenham v Crystal Palace
Tottenham did not start well but came back to draw at Everton, while Crystal Palace could not score at home and were beaten by West Brom.

Tottenham are without injured goalkeeper Hugo Lloris but I do not see that being a problem here while the Eagles are seeking a new striker.

It looks like they will get Liverpool's Christian Benteke or the Baggies' Saido Berahino. Who would I take? Well, the way Palace play, it would probably be Benteke, who is close to joining them after the Eagles agreed to pay £27m for the player.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0

Still a WUM.

The summaries really are bizarre which is why i think he annoys people, he goes off on a tangent about something else , kind of mumbling like a crazy man.

In the segment he is given he has a good few sentences of room to summarise and reasons why he thinks a game will go a certain way but it's always 'both team have players, something happened last week which has no effect on this game, perhaps a team might score, who knows? Prediction - 5 nil'

Yep saw that coming :D

Brave of him to pick the striker Palace are actually going to sign as his choice. Insight!

2-0 though, that would be nice.

He's predicting 1-1 for this weekend's game. Can't say I disagree with him. He's going against Olympic Gold medalist Laura Trott who is a Spurs fan in the weekly predictions this week.

Tottenham v Liverpool (12:30 BST)
This is an interesting one. Going forward, Tottenham have not really started firing properly yet but they have still shown why they are very hard to beat.

Mauricio Pochettino's teams always protect their back four and summer signing Victor Wanyama does that job very well because he covers so much ground.

I don't think Liverpool's defeat by Burnley will knock their confidence, but the way that game went for them could happen a lot this season, especially against teams from the bottom half of the Premier League.

The way the Reds are set up and with the players they have got, I think they are going to win quite a few games easily but, when teams score against them first, it is going to be difficult for them.

Burnley were very rigid, and very well organised and defended very deep. Although Liverpool have lots players that can give them options up front, they are all quite similar and do not allow them to mix up their style of play when they are chasing a game.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1

Laura's prediction: I'm going with Tottenham but I don't think we are going to run away with it. 2-1

Good to know Dave Bautista is also a Spurs fan - we really do have the best celebrity fans!

Stoke v Tottenham
Like Palace, Stoke are another team who have made a slow start but I am sure will improve.

Getting Bony on loan from Manchester City was a great signing for the Potters because a goalscorer was the thing they lacked last season.

Bony likes playing on his own, which suits Stoke, and he will be playing regularly, which makes a big difference. He will be a good acquisition.

Tottenham won 4-0 at Stoke in April, but I do not see things being anywhere near as easy this time.

I am still waiting for Spurs to really hit their stride this season but they remain hard to beat - so a draw is the most likely outcome.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1

Dave's prediction: That's a Spurs win for sure. Go Spurs! 1-3
