I was surprised to hear nothing but positive comments from pundits about the ref, I thought he was pants. He never got control of the players and the time wasting stuff towards the end just developed into farce!

Lino - I'd buy you a pint any time fella!

Yeah good to see, Sky saying "He has made the decision for the ref there" or something to that effect was incorrect. He merely saw it, raised his flag and assisted the referee-which is his job if i'm not mistaken. Alan f*cking Smith. Christ

It's not often in the modern world of football that referees, or the linesman for that matter, makes as brave a decision as this man did. For that he deserves the utmost respect from me.

If this kickstarts us into a new era out from the darkness I will endeavour to buy a pub/restaurant and name it after him. In Tottenham.

Both linesmen did well. Yerby for spotting the handball and Garrett for spotting Drogba was offside before Woodgate wrestled him to the ground. From where I was sat I didn't see either and was certain Woodgate had given away a penalty but watching the replays later on reveals both decisions were 100% correct.

If Yerby runs the line at WHL anytime soon it would be good to get a chant going in his honour early on to show our appreciation.

"Only one Martin Yerby" fits the tune quite well.

It's funny watching everyone's reactions! Thudd clearly had no idea what a flag across the chest meant (imo!)

And the dude took an eternity to call it. That moment will live with me for a loooong time.

Linesman did well

I just want to say that I thought the Linesman did really well to spot Bridge's Handball which led to our Penalty on Sunday.

It was a great call, I wonder if it had been given if it happened when we were attacking at the other end in front of the Chelsea fans. As soon as Bridge handled every Spurs fan jumped up and was screaming for it to be given, I think he waited a couple of seconds before he made his mind up. I like to think we helped win that penalty!

It was a crazy 5-10 second period, I saw the handball, realised the referee was behind so wouldn't have seen it, saw that the linesman had a perfect view, then panicked because he seemed to take an absolute age to give it. Thought for one horrible moment he wasn't gonna give it.

It was certainly Yerby, lives in the same town as me, plays cricket for a local team, is my mates brother-in-law and is a massive Arsenal fan!!!
