I wanted the underdog to win yesterday

I think I'll go for the San Diego Chargers as I love San Diego. Are the chargers any good?
They are moving to Los Angeles(will play in a soccer stadium that only fits 23k for the first few years also:LOL:) and no, they are kinda shit.

If you're next choice is the Oakland Raiders, they are likely moving to Las Vegas.

I hate everything sbout Boston and their sporting teams. The world would be a much better place without that shitheap. Tired of them winning absolutely everything. Ive had it.

Having spent part of my life in Boston, this makes the Pats winning just a tiny bit better.

It's odd to pull for teams that people just loathe because of their success rather than crush your soul.

Why the fuck are they moving? What the fuck, that's like us moving to Birmingham...

OK maybe Seattle, never been but could be good. I used to like Miami dolphins but mainly cos I had a cap a while back.

Somehow managed to avoid the result after recording it last night.

Just finished watching the whole thing. Fuck!

A stunning game, and gutted for the Falcons. Can't say the Patriots didn't deserve it though. Some incredible plays in the 4th quarter. That catch alone was deserving a win.

Shit way to decide it though.

The Cowboys don't have the most championships, the Steelers do. The reason for the comparison to Man Utd was because the Pats under Belichick are Man Utd under Ferguson - dominate the league, benefit from questionable officiating, have the most hated fan base in the league, are the archetypal bandwagon team and toppled the old order (Cowboys/Steelers/Liverpool).

I hate to agree with you on this but you are correct in saying Spurs are the Jets. They envy the Giants success, we envy Chelsea's.
You are correct. Can't believe the Big Ben years slipped my mind. Must be my lingering hatred of the Steelers from my childhood love of the Cowboys...don't like those c**** anymore though since Jerry fired 'the man in the hat'. And then compounded it by pissing 'Jimma' (and a certain #22) off. Hate Jerry Jones.

I did see your point about Pats Manu though. But as much as any of us haters would like to admit their front office is magic. And I do like Belichick believe it or not. He is ALL business and not a 'look at me' manager like Mourinho. And he does it with castoffs, shitty WRs (granted his slots are always awesome, tho concussed), old guys, and troublemakers. He is just better than most.

S.P.U.R.S Spurs Spurs Spurs! Just aping gang green's chant.

Seattle are good right now. Fervent support up in the Pacific Northwest for ALL their sports teams...mostly because the weather is as shitty as in England so their is not much else to do (oops, did I say out loud). Sweet stadium, great Uniforms, good coach, front office and owner. Would be a good choice. I would advise against Miami. It would be like telling someone to like WBA. Expect midtable type of results and their support is weak since 'the sights' down in Miami are way better than the sports. Shit sports town.

As a Jets fan, I respectfully disagree. The Jets are West Ham through and through. They're the dumbest team in the league but are utterly convinced they are the smartest. That's why they pick kickers in the third round and fullbacks in the first.

I've always considered the NFL Spurs equivalent to be the Eagles. They vacillate between fun and terrible while never really winning everything, and their fanbase is overbearingly neurotic too (although a lot more violent than Spurs fans).

I though about the 'Iggles but prior to chip kelly they had so much stability it didn't fit. But they points you make are right on. And yeah I hope Spurs supporters would never boo a man down with a neck injury, nor pelt Santa with snowballs.

Edit: And yeah woody is as much a dildo as SGB at WH so you have a point.

Woody Johnson is my favorite quadruple entendre. I think he's an ambassador now.

Sorted I am now a fully fledged Seahawks fan baby. Good kit too, blue, I like it.

Seattle is somewhere I've always wanted to go so I may go over Christmas whilst in NYC.

BROWNS!!!!!! Thank you so much, I love you. Thank you. Taking the Brocketship and that absurd contract off our hands and all we had to do was give you a 2nd round pick in next years draft also? What a fucking deal. Great deal for the Texans. Opens us up for Romo. I like it.

Just an odd decision.

I get that the Pats were probably asking for one of the 1st rounders to be in play for Garropolo but Osweiler's contract is brutal and he was horrendous last year.

Then again the Bears are sounding like they will be paying $14m a season for Mike Glennon, a backup QB who has thrown 11 passes since 2015 and has a 5-13 career record as a starter (granted he has a 2-1 career TD/INT ratio) so maybe the trade for Osweiler makes a bit more sense...

They had around 100m in cap space to start free agency, so maybe they'll use that extra second round pick in a trade for a QB? The contract won't be much of a burden for them. Still really weird though and they were having a pretty good free agency until then.

The Jags have made a few decent moves, although they still have Bortles so...

The Browns are just the ultimate givers. Of jokes, of wins for other teams...just so unselfish. It is so admirable for them to never have a winning season again.

hahaha shows how truly offer Osweiler is that they have to send him a 2nd and a 6th for only a 4th. They aren't the ones getting the 2nd rounder...they had to give it to get rid of him and his terrible salary!!

Sounds like a good move on both sides - Texans jettison an awful deal and Browns acquire a second rounder utilising the huge cap space they possess.

Yeah once i read up about the move it sounds like it was a move to get another draft choice more than anything else. Cleveland doesn't sound like they are going to be on the hook for as much as i thought.

Pick up the extra 2nd and stick it in a package to the Pats for Garropolo maybe?

Adam Schefter has repeatedly said he won't be traded, so we'll see. Some reports suggest they want two 1st rounders for him, which is bonkers.
