This. The Raiders recently acquired E.J. Manuel as a free agent from Buffalo, so I don't see that happening.
Plus would we have really wanted the baggage that comes with Kap anyhow?

Bears gave up wayyy too much to only move up 1 spot for Trubisky. Insane. But at the same time, the niners needed a QB and the Browns were apparently debating between him and Garrett. So it made some sense for them. When the Chiefs drafted Mahomes, I was so pissed. I knew Watson would then be going to the Browns so I was begging the Texans to trade up with the Saints. When they didnt, I almost cried and gave up on the season. But next thing I knew, I looked back up at the TV and the Texans were on the clock. I was so incredibly happy. Too much to trade? I dont know. There was a QB run, Watson wasnt going to last, he's a clear winner and the only position we needed was a QB. The first, next years first, a 2nd and Brocketship for Watson is, IMO, a fantastic trade.Liking that T.J. Watt fell into the Steelers lap. A month ago I was hoping for Mahomes as the long term heir to Ben, but everyone went QB-crazy in this draft, resulting in a blue-chip player in the biggest Steelers position of need (OLB) falling to them. He may not be as good as his brother, but he's still a great player and now they have him and Dupree for some time. Hoping for a good CB/S in round two, and then maybe a developmental QB in round 3 (Kaaya, Webb or Peterman?), although it maybe better to wait until next year for that now.
I think the Chiefs getting Mahomes is a good fit for both, and Watson looks very pro-ready for the Texans, but Chicago gave up way too much for Trubisky.

Not sure how I feel about the T.J. Watt pick considering Reuben Foster was available. Granted Foster has off the field issues but talent wise he could be as good as Luke Kuechly.
As for QB, Joshua Dobbs. The guy is accurate throwing deep, can run with the ball, is smart enough to learn the offense (he studied aerospace engineering) and as a late third/early fourth round pick could be the steal of the draft.
I also am not so sure TJ Watt would have been drafted so highly if his brother wasnt the best DL in the NFL. He's a good player, dont get me wrong. I like him. But even late 1st round is such a huge reach for him. Even worse seeing as how Foster, even with all his off the field issues, was available. Not sure how I feel about the T.J. There was a great article about the so called baggage with kap and how he is well respected in the oakland area, not to mention we are oakland raiders.This.

Have to assume they are confident that these allegations are unfounded on a first rounder but he's exactly what we want in a CB - tall, rangy back who can smother. There was a great article about the so called baggage with kap and how he is well respected in the oakland area, not to mention we are oakland raiders.
Everyone hates us
Not to mention we have just drafted a cornerback who is a late first rounder because he is accused of raping someone
The end is nigh Patriots! We got our secret weapon in the 6th
It's a strange pick for sure, Greg Warren had been the long snapper for about seventy years though so I can see why they need a replacement. The end is nigh Patriots! We got our secret weapon in the 6th
I've been watching it too . Turned it on yesterday for a game and the score was 12-1. How do you score one point? Can the NFL hurry up and start the season? In order to get my football fix, I've started to watch Canadian football. It's entertaining but really, really weird.
