You can’t have it all ways toxic atmosphere robs off on players and will play into city hands, when are some fans will learn that toxicity is effecting players. You only speak for yourself there no such thing we because there many fans who disagree with you.
Nah I’m not buying this. Our away support has been absolutely fantastic! Particularly since the World Cup. They’ve constantly been chanting “Antonio” and “We Want Levy Out!”. That hasn’t had an adverse effect on the players; quite the opposite. Our away form is second only to the Scum this year. Perhaps the chanting is only really “toxic” to those who want Levy/ENIC to remain? I can see how your opinion has merit Lea, but respectfully disagree with you on this one mate.

Member since 2015 :D So your experience of 'always' is eight years and i'd argue that the first three or four years, if not longer, it wasn't anywhere near like this.

Going further back, SC was Levy-love central. Big time.
Been coming here years before that, just didn't bother to post because I'm active on other forums so I didn't need an account. Not like I've posted much since I made this account either.

Either way, swap "always" for "last 8 years" and it doesn't really change the point does it?

I didn't say that this place has always been as ENIC Out as it is now, I said it's always been more ENIC Out than other online Spurs communities.

I am not talking about away fans, I am talking about home support. We are easy picking at home instead of being fortress away team loving come over. Remember how we brutalised Arsenal but right now is constant arguing amongst fans. Toxic atmosphere is effecting players even Conte said that. Away fans loving it. You can make your points anywhere and anytime but not when the team playing. I been there when there was much worse toxicity agains Sugar and we struggled it will happen the same with this team.

The word toxic is so overused - since when was it a buzz word on here

Im not Levy/Enic out or in - I recognise the good and the bad and the pros and cons but im focussed on the team. Ill be going to the City game but when there is a football match in front of you, an important one and one that with a good result will continue to fuel some of that good feeling into our players and club - the last thing I'm thinking of is Levy.

We have a good month coming up with the return of CL football, two London derbies and an FA Cup 5th round. Lets focus on that eh. And by this I mean at the games themselves, you and thousands of others wanting to speak up? that's is perfectly fine and admirable but do it outside of the match itself. I have however got a lot of respect for those who go home and away on a weekly basis but that is my perspective and inclination

Gary Stevens said exactly that when interviewed by Paul Coyte recently , the players feel the negative attitude from the crowd it doesn't do anybody any good.
I remember earlier in the season or it might have been last season, can't remember which game Harry took a wild shot at goal and was met with a chorus of boos , he was shooting at the south stand goal.

Gary Steven’s, what a great guy and player. If we could turn back time he starts for us on Sunday.

Tricky one though as for almost everyone, the only time when Daniel levy is in earshot would be the time they are in the stadium

I guess the answer is to get inside 30mins before kickoff and protest then, and also stay behind for 30mins too.

Our home support has been the worst I have seen it in over 20 years.

No chanting, lots of booing, groans.

I'm not sure it's to do with enic, or more to do with the football being served up. However, we have an opportunity to get a run going. We need to make the stadium a fortress.

I'd prefer if people want to vent at the owners, they'd do it after the match. However, it is totally up to each individual.

I guess Sunday will be a good gauge of where the crowd actually is.

No anti ENIC chanting where I sit in the stadium and very little booing at end of games when we lose, most of which seems to emanate from the south stand. Conte's first home game when boos greeted half time came mainly from south stand , season ticket holders around me were pretty disgusted at the so called fans.

Booing is one thing but the anti levy chants were heard throughout recent away games. The point is that it wasnt just confined to on here which it clearly isnt.

It was the Portsmouth match he spoke about crowd negativity and it's effect on players.

I remember having a tour of the club about 10 years ago.

I expected to find a place celebrating the long history and traditions of the club and the sport of football.

What I found had all the class of a Sports bar. A place to do business and hold lunches.

ENIC aren't in it to win trophies.

The stadium was a game changer. Now FFP 2025 will be a game changer. When 2025 rolls around there’ll be another game changer on the horizon. As the saying goes, tomorrow never comes.

That 'game changer' is extended to 2028 assuming it is ever enforced in any adequate way so plenty of scope for more excuses further down the line. For now in effect they have moved the goalposts from the 'game changer' being when we can spend more to when others can spend less, they obviously would prefer their new found wealth to go into profits rather than player acquisition.
