surely if we were to address our weaknesses as a squad we would have a net spend of at least 20 mils over the summer.. and the decision to sell Steed is surely turning out to be a joke..
even if ramos didn't like him levy/comolli should have used the little common sense they seem to share between them and recognised that if the was to be any continuity whatsoever in this important transitional period then Steed should have been part of it, at least to see us through the season, at the very least until january.
Can anyone really tell me they wouldn't have liked to see Steed on the pitch against Villa instead of Jenas? (who did well but let's face it, cannot relied upon) i mean comeon, what a joke.

the squad has literally no depth whatsoever and some people on here have the nerve to question Ramos' abilities, when really they should be outside the ground protesting against Levy/Comolli, demanding to know why the squad is so waferthin. Why players like Steed and Tainio were not kept on to see the new players through until they proved they could perform in the premiership.

Levy needs to abandon the system or get a new DOF because the relationship between the summer dealings and what is happening now is glaringly obvious to a proper DOF. and Levy needs to stop meddling personally in transfer matters. He should be giving the budget to the DOF, and that should be the end of his involvement.

To be honest i enjoy the clubs economic state and that can only be attributed to Levy, but what has happened over the last 2 years by not keeping key players or filling key positions is only due to a lack of common football sense on his part (and nothing to do with lacking finances)

you pays peanuts, you gets monkeys.

the powers that be made a huge mistake not signing a central midfielder that could read the game to compliment & give licence to the likes of modric, dos santos & jenas in the 4-5-1 system ramos wants to adopt as currently we have too much of the same sort of midfielders & no balance on the pitch..

No player comes or goes without Ramos' approval. Levy supplies the cash, Comolli does the dealing. We have the players we have now because of Ramos. It would help if people understood that.

you cant say youd rather have the likes of steed, tainio instead of bentley and modric

thats crazy talk foo'!

I think the teams problems werent addressed. jenas warrants a place in the current first time i feel but I think you can sum up the summer such that Dawson and Jenas signed new deals instead of us buying a new CD and CM.

Love Ledley, but its a harsh world and if he cant get himself fit, we need someone quality to come in
