Arsenal are, Chelsea of the past maybe, but with the manager who has a worse record than Scolari in charge? Not sure, he's going to get punished for trying to change too many things too quickly.

Agreed. I was always cautious of Chelsea even earlier in the season when they were doing badly because I thought they were the most capable of going on a great run if they recovered thier form but they're just so inconsistent at the moment.

Arsenal can continue to keep winning games I think but they are quite prone to dropping silly points at home, as are Liverpool.

One injury to RVP and arse will plunge down the table.....well at least I hope they would anyway

Chelsea are strange, one minute they look quite decent (like against us) the next they go and lose 3-1 at home to a side like Villa Eek

As for pool, don't really see them as much of a threat to anything.

A lot depends on this transfer window I suppose, Chelsea could easily go out and spend about £50mil to try and turn things round.

So 1 man team Pool have Gerrard back again and will now no doubt think they will storm up the table, what a silly bunch they are

As for this weekends games not expecting any of City, Arse, Manure or Chelsea to drop points so its another big game for us.

I kinda fancy your old friend MOs motley crew to stifle Citeh, actually.

See, Hottie, You gotta trust Ol' SP

Hopefully it will be another Torres signing then

We need to win the next 2 games. That puts us right up there, but I do worry about the scum lurking behind us. 100% commitment and concentration, x-mas is over if we do want to win the league then we're not going to get a better opportunity (god even I'm thinking about it now).

Any proper evidence or is this just a rumour?

Sean Davis wife's sister told me, obviously Davis would have told her/the family so I have no reason to doubt this is his personal account of the facts

As to whether Jol would agree with this account I have no idea, but while its second hand info its a lot closer to the horses mouth than the average rumour you hear in the pub

So just a rumour then. Like the ITK, I'll take it with a pinch of salt.

Wow what a result. I was thinking City could certainly slip up but I was thinking a draw perhaps. I'm not sure if this makes me less disappointed about yesterday or more. We've gained a point on city but we've lost two on Arsenal. If we'd won, we'd have been 4pts behind with a game in hand. Slip ups like yesterday are the difference between champions and wanabees
