There are about 3 other huge teams that will 'pay whatever they want' for De Ligt so people can forget that.

How can this thread be at the top.of the pile on a night like tonight?
I'm dying for us to add some quality to our ranks but this Champions League run is ALL about this group of players.
Enjoy and revel in it

I'd love Ziyech. Stats are OUTSTANDING, most noticeably 22 goals and 15 assists in all comps as well as 3.7 key passes per game in the Eredivise, and 2.2 in the CL too.

However, EuroUnited on twitter, who recently broke the Ndombele being heavily pursued by us story (which was recently backed up by JJ), have said that Ziyech is likely going Bayern Munich.

on 5th of May they said that Bayern had agreed personal terms with BM and that City, Spurs, Juventus and Dortmund were still interested.
Then later said he had rejected an offer from Spurs (Didn't explicitly cite what that was down too, i.e. wages, playing time etc) But did say that the player had fallen in love with the city of Munich.
And then most recently tonight, they have stated that not only do Bayern want Ziyech, but they want Ajax manager Erik Ten Hag to replace Nico Kovac if he goes, and that he would like to bring both Ziyech and De Ligt with him to Bayern should he be appointed.

So i reckon we're unfortunately out of the running for Ziyech, but can take positives that we are looking at some great players and even making offers too them

Other than the obvious De Ligt, I think Ziyech is the Ajax player we should be after. Tenacious across the pitch. Looks lethal going forwards too.

I feel a bit sorry for Ajax though as it's they're likely to lose half of this amazing team. Imagine if Ajax had the money to keep this team together - but, as we known there's no chance they're able to.
It looks like they're set to lose Mazraoui, de Ligt, Tagliaficio, van de Beek, Neres, Ziyech (and they've already lost de Jong).
As for Ten Hag: managing Bayern is a totally different ball game than managing Ajax though. I hope he stays at Ajax (nothing against Bayern).
