Don’t think they do, but with every game I see him play, it becomes more baffling why we didn’t go in for him...

Leicester have got some very good young players now and I would honestly take as many as 8 of their players in our squad...

Chilwell
Maddison
Ricardo Pereira
Tielemans
Maguire
Barnes
Gray
Ndidi

Maybe club knew they only had an option. This would give Tielemans 6 months of regular prem football which gives our scouts the chance to see if he is good or not.

I'm sure come summer if we were after him he would choose us over leciester. Or maybe I'm being too smart for my own good

How much have people seen of wan Bissaka to be so convinced by him. Must admit he still looks very raw to me, not completely convinced about him in possession, looks a bit uncomfortable on the ball at times, maybe just an ungainly style. Personally think for what he would cost it would be a big gamble.

Think it was the game against City where he got everyone’s attention. Had Sane in his pocket all game. Made him look ordinary and not many players can do that.

That's probably the spin the club will give, but from the last couple windows I just think we just annoyingly listed him as a player who "wouldn't improve us"...

EDIT:

Watching the Leicester game now, he's so calm and composed on the ball - he's got that little bit of silky flair that only a few players have.

Here’s my summer shopping list:
Chilwell for LB, Wan Bisaka for RB, Rabiot for CM, Brookes for AM. Could do with a DM and WF too. Chances of anything like this happening, slim.

I am not convinced “next level signings” are necessarily what we need.

Poch does extremely well at developing players and integrating them slowly.

The lack of recent signings means we have a lack of players ready to replace those who are shortly due to depart.

In centre back I think we are fine but are certainly short at full back, centre mid and an Eriksen replacement.

Agreed Poch does do well on the coaching and developing side of things. By going that route again though, all we are doing is going through that cycle again of two or three years... young team, inexperienced team and basically not progressing and potentially going backwards

I do feel we have missed a trick with this team in the last coupe of seasons, i think it needed a couple of top quality players and with that in mind i think we could have really gone on to win one or two things...

We've essentially been Mark Corrigan for the last 2 years.

I don't expect a lot of support on this one, but I'd try to tempt Fabian Delph from City. He's getting fewer and fewer chances for them, yet he's still regarded highly enough to captain England, recently. I think his winning mentality from City could help.

Dan James - Swansea City.

Speed, direction, dribbler, HG, attainable, fits the older spurs model of signing them before they’re beyond reach in 2/3 years time.

Watching Nice vs Strasbourg....RB Youcef Atal looking explosive as usual.

Edit: Minutes later he puts his team up 1-0 in spectacular fashion. Love this kid.

I rate Chilwell, but we have Danny getting back to some sort of form. On his day there’s not many better in the division than Danny imo.

I’d also take Maguire but the rest are not an improvement on what we have really. It’s still early days for Tielemans

I'm in les arc chatting to a spurs fan as I rant about yesterday.

He reminded me that even our chaff looks odds on to get top four. The players we can sell like tripps would be a weapon for an Everton. Which was us a few years about.

I do feel we don't have an x factor though. Regardless of obvious quality no one really gets me off my seat.

Equally I want the wanyama and Dembele type duo back, that season I backed our CM against anyone and it allowed others to express.

It's hard but any area we can upgrade on we should. The policy should be starters only

Controversial but I wouldn't be averse to to young Demarai Gray.

Young enough for Poch to work with, but already exciting enough to be a better option than Moura and, dare I say it, Lamela, too.

Onions.

Yeah, I’d be more inclined to bring him on instead of them two at times. He’s young but even taking that into account he’s very inconsistent.

I like a lot of them players at Leicester, but I’m just not sure they’d upgrade us, certainly not significantly.

The one player at that club who would do well for us isn’t actually on the list. Vardy. Never happening though for various reasons

Do you not think his inconsistency is much down to the inconsistency of being selected, though?

Either way, some quality coaching 'should' be able to help iron out the creases?

Edit: Vardy? Personally speaking, nah, he's a massive ****.

Plenty of players out there better than Moura and Lamela. Personally would prefer Barnes over Gray but from today's game I'm hoping we do to Leicester for Tielemans what we did to Southampton to get Toby.

100%. Love the lad.

I just didn't mention him because I've mentioned him a lot over the last few weeks & I piss people off enough as it is, without becoming even more annoying.
