However thinks Fulham will want JJ and Bentley? Seriously. Both need loaning out to get game time.

These swap deals are always mentioned but rarely happen.

If you don't rate dembele then your from an era that needs forgetting in my opinion

The guy has all the attributes. He has the physical presence. He has premier league pedigree and he can play up top

An excellent addition to absolutely any squad

I remember talking to you about him a year and saying he had great potential but didnt think he was a upgrade AS a second striker to VDV

BUT since JOL has moved him to CM he has been my favourite player of last season so underrated it was criminal last season, he had vision, the passing ability and dribbling skill to replace modric imo. Modric's best ability imo wasnt his ability to pass but to get himself out of a sticky situation and make room for himself to find someone or make a killer ball, in a nutshell Dembele has been doing exactly that for Fulham

But he wouldn't be signed to play that high up the pitch, we signed Sig for that, whether that's to compete with VDV or not remains to be seen.

Dembele would be playing from a deeper role.

Im getting bored of seeing this same post over and over again lol, DEMBELE HAS BEEN A CM since Murphy was doomed

Reports now suggesting that Defoe could be involved in the Dembele deal...

Well, it'd mean we have a better suited striker coming in via a separate deal.

Defoe and 5m for Dembele? I'm not sure on Defoe's valuation to be quite honest.

And then turn around 13-15m on Remy?

20m for Remy and Dembele and our squad is stronger in 2 positions...

If that was true then a striker is DEFINITELY on their way to us

Not sure to be honest because whilst Dembele is a CM in the premier league, for Belguim he is a striker since they have no one and have Defour, Witsel and Fellaini

This is massively clutching straws, but JJ said about Llorente "very" expensive, not "too" expensive.
Similar scenario to when I bought my TV, it is Very expensive, but I could afford it.

Simples :)

Falcao £35m, Moutinho £24m Lloris £12m Willian £15m

£86M total (minus lots of wages)

Not sure on our outs, but it should bring net spend to around £20m?
You know, if levy wasn't so super prudent and took a punt on something like that, it would pay for itself a few times over, well down the road. especially if the net spend is 20mill.

I doubt we would go for Remy, we need a player who can play against teams with 10 defenders and fuck shit up, IMO thats isco, his short range passing is very good and he runs through defenders like gravy on a sunday lunch:cool:

He doesnt striker me as a finisher so dont think he would be good as a striker. I just have this niggling feeling about Llorente. I just dont believe the whole 'he is expensive' line. Then again im making assumptions here.

I don't think JJ cares tbh, the guy's probably just amazed he's getting paid as a footballer.

I'm inclined to agree with this. There's always a risk that a big money transfer won't work out, you only have to look at Carroll and Torres to see that. Still, Falcao in for £35 millon is a risk worth taking. He's the kind of player that could fire us to the title, really. I would absolutely love it if we got him.

Having said that, I doubt we'll go for him. I'm sure football transfers are a bit more complicated than a few numbers and a prayer anyway. :)

Update 310 Dragon posted

" As I've said since may our net spend will end up being circa 20- 25 million absolute tops. "

Just saying your suggestion might be plausible is all.
