If Owens wins a contract he'll be one of a number of former Spurs playing there.

Grant Hall, Steven Caulker, Mass Luongo, Joe Lumley, Alex Finney, Chris Paul, Brandon Adams, Michael Anastasiou, Aramide Oteh, Geoff Kibaki, Jake Frailing and Nathan Orafu.

Armani Daly, Amon Walton-Owen & Adreas Kommodikis all had spells there recently as well.

You know where Daly is at now. Outside of rapping not sure what he's upto

The twins are Michael and Matthew Craig.

And as @edson said they both look very intelligent players

No idea, mate. He had trials with QPR & Huddersfield and then just dropped off the map. He was always a bit of an odd choice for a full-time scholarship. In my opinion we've let better kids go. But then again we seem to do this every year, there's always or or two who just don't fit. Lads who were peripheral or bang average at U16 level who get a scholarship and then either don't play for two years or make a few sporadic performances in the first year and then get released half way through their scholarship.

05/06: Greg Lake (Released after a year)
06/07: -
07/08: James Dalton/Mark Clare/Ajet Shehu/Saulo Asajile (I don't know if they played 3 games between them)
08/09: Anthony Jack (Jack, I think made 2 sub appearances in 2 years)
09/10: -
10/11: William Troost-Ekong/James Yeboah (Ekong & Yeboah maybe played 4 or 5 times combined)/Freddy Champion (Champion lasted 1 year)
11/12: Mason Bush/Sam Smith (did he even play a single minute of football in two years)/Roman Michael-Percil/Thomas Gardiner (I think Gardiner started 2 games in two years and both times was subbed off at half time)
12/13: Zodel Brown-Yeboah (lasted 1 year after 2 or 3 abysmal performances)
13/14: Channing Campbell-Young (another one who made 2 or 3 dreadful appearances in his first year before having his contract cancelled)
14/15: Armani Daly
15/16: Joy Mukena/Aramide Oteh

Iirc Ekong was meant to be fairly highly rated but nothing happened for him.

I though RMP was actually I very good and tricky winger, thought he was hard done by being released. Better than Daly I think.

Oteh I feel bad for. Lot of promise and ability by all accounts. On cusp of England team at u16 before getting injured and our for a long time. Sterling stepped up at u16s instead and Oteh never really got a look in after. Griffiths then does similar following year, and Oteh slips father down. I think he was more unfortunate, than a failure.

Atm it seems like Omolabi, Lock(who I liked last year, but not seen this year) and Reynolds(not seen much) seem to be those players.

I think they're included to pad the squad but not necessary really when lots of talent below

another couple of nice goals for pritchard at 1:10 and 2:00, he's started every game since alex neil got sacked. good to see him finally getting a run in the side and i still believe he'll make it as a good pl player at the very least.

just over a year(summer 2018).

Not long at all, it's for this reason that I'm sure he will be given plenty of chances in pre season and then off the bench. Of Woodburn can start for Liverpool away to Stoke I see no reason why Edwards won't be given chances. Plus he won't sign a new contract if he's not getting a look in.

such a good player to watch give him the ball and he can deliver, still would not be shocked if Southgate picked him for England one day.

i hope so, although he has quite a few players ahead of him and that's ignoring any additions(barkley? zaha?). ideally we sell sissoko and then josh either gets a chance at cm or goes on loan. nkoudou i actually like the look of from the brief game time he's had but i don't think anyone really knows what's going on with him. eriksen/alli/son/lamela/edwards is a nice group of attacking mids to choose from.

Edwards seems a few years ahead of Winks in that sense.

My instinct is that as Poch has already taken him out of youth football, we'll be seeing him in the first team squad next season.

Then it depends how quickly he adapts to the PL as to how much game time he gets (Onomah/Winks).
No offence but I dont get how people can say Onomah hasnt done anything to earn more time

Whilst at the same time Sissoko has literally had the same meh performances and does continued to get picked. I honestly cant take anyone serious if they say Sissoko has offered something this season.

The thing is with Onomah, he has never ever been a winger and yet has always been forced out wide whilst Sissoko was a wide player for Newcastle and France this summer

With one year left on his contract will we give him a chance?

I can't believe Pochettino didn't put Onomah into midfield for half an hour yesterday. What a waste of a free pass for Poch and opportunity to put a massive notch into Onomah's development.

I read that William Troost Ekong is now a Nigeria international, who plays for Gent. He wasn't in their European squad to face us though. He had been on loan at Norwegian side FK Haugesund and only returned to Gent in January.

Ekong has only made three appearances in total for Gent since he signed for them in 2015. Apparently he's got 10 caps for Nigeria, which is a bit odd as I can't believe they've not got lots of better defenders. Its not like there's a shortage of good Nigerian footballers playing throughout the world.

And when he did come on he stayed wide while Sissoko stayed central.

I was at the game and watched both players. Time and again Onomah asked for the ball to feet and offer himself up. Not once did Sissoko do that. In fact most of the time he stood around with his hands on his hips.

Which is pretty much what he did for the 4, or so, seasons he was at the Toon. I know, my wife and her entire family are Toon Army. Who's decision it was to sign him I cannot imagine because it is quite possibly the most reckless, ridiculous, ill considered, brainless, agonisingly predictable bit of bad business that one could imagine. I said on the day we signed him that this would happen. The guy is dreadful and has a positively shocking attitude. I can't think of a full French international, including goalkeepers that have been as bad technically and as utterly clueless with the ball as Sissoko. If there isn't an inquest going on in the recruitment department then I want to know why.

following on from the news that Oteh has had his contract cancelled, the same site footballinsider247.com are reporting that league documents show that we cancelled Anton Walkes contract in February.

http://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-tottenham-terminate-defenders-contract/

Just read that...Find it extremely bizarre that he was playing in EFL cup against Gillingham, went on loan to Atlanta in Jan and now out of contract ? Even more bizzare is offcial website still has his details in current development squad list.
