If Sancho and Sessegnon sign, where would you put them in the rankings?

if they all hit their max potential then probably:

1. sancho
2. edwards
3. sessegnon

sessegnon's the safest bet of the three, edwards the least. sancho depends a lot on attitude and maturity, he could go the way of cristiano and neymar or more the way of quaresma and robinho. those three all offer something a bit different though. as we saw at the euros sessegnon can tear teams apart when the game gets stretched, but i don't think it should be ignored that when the games were tight he had little impact. edwards is basically the complete reversal of this, he's not going to blast forward 70 yards up the pitch but when you need someone to do something different to unlock a stubborn defence then he's the guy you want.

i still think onomah can become a top premier league cm so he'd be up there too but as an am i think his potential is borderline championship quality.

the top three is spot on imo but the rest is a bit shaky.

Agreed. What would yours be? Mine would be:

#1 Marcus Edwards
#2 Josh Onomah
#3 Kyle Walker-Peters
#4 Oliver Skipp
#5 - #10 in a different order depending on the day:

Cameron Carter-Vickers
Japhet Tanganga
TJ Eyoma
Jack Roles
Samuel Shashoua
Tashan Oakley-Boothe

Edit: totally forgot Reo Griffiths who I really like. Would potentially remove Roles or Shashoua to accommodate him.

Notable mentions for:

Alfie Whiteman
Luke Amos
Kaziah Sterling
George Marsh

That's only including Skipp of the first years as I've not seen the rest in the flesh yet.

Marcus Edwards is a MANCHESTER UNITED FAN yet was born in London Borough of Camden... Guess he's one of 'them' people then... :dead::dead:

I'm hoping his Man U supporting dad at least came from there originally...

Bit worrying if he does make it for us and they come knocking in a few years... (yeah I'm paranoid but I've supported Spurs a LONG time so entitled to be!).

It's funny you could almost say with certainty sancho sessegnon even onomah and KWP will have premier league careers to what level Not sure but they will have some sort of career. For me Edwards is either gonna be a massive success or nothing I can't see a middle ground for him.

Griffiths will be the player to watch over the next few seasons along with Skipp.

Talking of the first year players Mackaday shocked me a bit, for a small player he is quiet strong and against Norwich he was fending off bigger players.
Completely forgot Griffiths - I am a fan. Will edit.

Given his age (and after seeing some of his clips going back a couple of years now), I think Skipp looks mightily impressive and could be the best CM talent so far to come through the academy. But I do like a good pass and move, tactically alert, calm and composed type. Others might value different aspects of the game.

Who doesn't like Skipp, for one so young he's mighty impressive. My only slight niggling doubt is over (a) his passing can be a bit sloppy & (b) he does seem to be VERY relaxed a lot of the time. There's just something of the Ogilvie's about him and it bothers me. I hope McDermott & especially Scott Parker get into him about his consistency levels and intensity.

mine would be roughly along those lines. it's a bit like trying to rank the 1st team though as like you say, there's not a great deal between a lot of them and even though we all agree on most things, there's still going to be the odd player or two that we rate higher or lower than the majority do. just like how you weren't too fond of pritchard(alex, not joe) or how @Spurzinho doesn't rate amos etc i've never really been on the roles bandwagon, i would probably rank him 9th just in his own age group tbh, let alone the entire youth setup. marsh i really quite liked at one point but last season he went from being a composed technical player to a lee clattermole impersonator so i'm pretty down on him now.

on the other side though i'm a big whiteman fan, but i'm not really sure what happened to him last season. he went from being first choice for england to not even making provisional squads and then he basically vanished from our teams as well with austin and others being picked ahead of him. despite that, he trains and travels with the first team so at least poch & co seem to rate him. tsaroulla i like a lot too and thought he really pushed on last season, shame he's injured(?) at the moment but hopefully he gets back soon and picks up from where he left off. one last player i like who hasn't been mentioned anywhere, though i can understand why, is tariq hinds. he's titchy and a fair bit behind in his physical development but otherwise he has a lot to work with.

The League Two outfit are renowned for their academy and reports this week suggested that 15-year-old George Nunn caught the eye of Spurs staff as he netted a hat-trick during a youth game between the two clubs.

It was claimed that Tottenham had entered into talks for the promising teenager but Crewe boss David Artell has played down the reports.

"George is a good player, a good prospect and I'm sure his mum and his dad, who are good people, and he will see his future here," he told the Crewe Chronicle.

"Tottenham haven't picked up the phone to any of us so I'm not sure where it's come from.

"It's not come from us so if any of the fans are thinking we're speculating to sell our young prospects – we are definitely not.

"I don't think it's come from George or his family either, so I'm sure it's an over-zealous reporter.

Like this top 10 as @Spurzinho said last year Skipp was slightly frustrating as he was being too lay and lost the ball in bad passes and misplaced passes. I think it was a form thing and it cost him his place with England and they chose Denny.

Sounds like he's back on OT this season.
Similarly TOB played excellent for England bit not with us, he could have been in top 5 too depending on how he goes.

Also agree RE Griffiths looks like has a lot about him and same with Hinds, if so I would take out Shash and Roles but again it's splitting hairs.

What's going to happen with Georgiou?

How old is he now? how longs left on his contract?

I really liked the look of him albeit in pre season and when I seen him against chelsea in the youth cup.

I think you are getting you players mixed up, Georgiou didn't play v Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup, he was injured.

I would be very surprised if he makes it here.

He is 20 and I'm pretty sure he has one year left on his contract.
