Apparently Sam Shashoua is joining a 3rd division Spanish side on loan.

We are really poor at finding loans, in all honesty. So its not terribly surprisingIs that really the best loan we could find?!
spanish 3rd div is equivalent to our league 1(though i'm sure some will argue otherwise) so it's about right, i don't think he'd command a champ loan at this point as he's had a pretty stop/start past year or two and still has some physical development to go through. spanish football probably suits him better and the article says he speaks the language so that helps, only disappointment from a fan pov is it won't be so easy to follow his progress.
Sadly its not, our league 1 is still a professional league, spanish 3 division is weird, it has 80 teams split in groups of 20 and its pretty much full of youth players, former professionals and semi pro playersspanish 3rd div is equivalent to our league 1(though i'm sure some will argue otherwise) so it's about right, i don't think he'd command a champ loan at this point as he's had a pretty stop/start past year or two and still has some physical development to go through. spanish football probably suits him better and the article says he speaks the language so that helps, only disappointment from a fan pov is it won't be so easy to follow his progress.
I believe it’s another lad that has fallen out of favour in wayne Burnetts world . It’s more than likely shashoua decision rather then the clubs . To endure another season with Burnetts idea of how to play football and to watch real talent fall by the wayside whilst we promote dead wood was probably all too much for our young startlet. Is that really the best loan we could find?!
Burnett appointment is very weird tbh. Played his whole career at a very low level. As a manager did ok job at Dagenham for 2 season, then got sacked. Am I missing something on his CV that entitles him to be coaching our U23 ? The way the U18 are going I could see Wells taking over in the near future.
He's been with us since June last year in a coaching capacity...would imagine he's a very good manager. Dagenham were/are broke, he did a good job there IMO.
