He's really not playing well so far, a bit of drama and raquet smashing. However Anderson is a really boring player. Serve point, Serve point.

Watched the Murray match last night. He looked proper weired constantly talking to himself. Like he had mental health issues.

Murray will always have matches like that in which his ground strokes just don't penetrate through the court enough and the opponent is succeeding in just that plus serving big.

Federer is looking very sharp though, great to see him playing so well. Am really hoping for a Federer v Djokovic final, could be a great match.

Serena is out :wideyed:

Can't believe she lost it, thought she was nailed on after taking the first set 6-2

Djokovic too good again

He was, sadly. I do try to like him, but there's something about his demeanour ...

That said, he was simply too good. When it really mattered he was stronger and rarely looked like losing the longer rallies. People say he's a bit robotic, but it's his phenomenal movement that lets him get in the right position to play the shot time after time.

I think Federer can win another major, but he needs someone else to beat Djokovic on the way.

Heating up in Davis Cup great comeback in 3rd set coming back from 4-1 down to take it 6-4.

One more set to put us in prime position for final singles tomorrow

And a break down in the 4th. They need to win this. (Stating the bleedin' obvious!)

Really having to dig in here. So much more drama in doubles than you generally see in singles matches

Jamie's been playing better than Andy most of the game

This is some tie-break. Brilliant tennis, all four.

Edit: Bugger.

Gotta love Hewitt's attitude whole tie rests on this 5th set

He's an amazing competitor; always has been. I couldn't want Britain to win more, but you have to admire some of the shots from the Aussies, and their bloody minded refusal to lose the 4th set.

But now a break up in the 5th. I don't think it's over yet!!

Didn't see it, but I was pretty sure Murray would see off Tomic; he's too immobile to trouble Andy.

Got to be firm favourites now. Who'd have thunk it!

Murray deserves it for his dedication towards the competition. He is an unbelievable athlete and will end his career as one of Britain's greatest ever sportsmen.

Bloody minded, was what I meant. And I think his attitude at the presentations looked right; he was annoyed but he wasn't dispirited. At least he's back in the top 4, where he belongs. #2 at year end, or £20 to SC.

I wrote this on Feb 1st.

Looks like I've got £20 riding on this afternoon's match!

Bugger.
