Secondly if they can't afford to pay all of the Modric fee at once how can they pay for Bale, as ALL UPFRONT would be DLs minimum requirement.
All this and thousands of other reasons point to bale going nowhere. This whole thing is ridiculous and RM have no shame whatsoever. DL ain't gonna let himself come over as a chump, so RM should gird their loins.

I want to see Levy go for Reals throat now. Demand the full support of the FA and Premier League, and make UEFA do something to stop the blatant tapping up and threaten to take Real to every court in Europe, getting an injunction to stop them taking part in their league and european competition, and also demand that the club pays all the taxes it owes which should be done under european law.

More chance of Jimmy Saville being summoned to court than action taken against MAdrid.

This is how they do business. Wont change.

The Bale stuff could easily be about the contract extension. Maybe they want a release clause put in to avoid a "gentelmen's agreement" situation next year a la Modric? Pure speculation on my part, just throwing it out there.

I do think though that if he was 100% staying he could easily come out and say it. I don't see how it could damage any future transfer to Madrid from his point of view.

TBH, were I Bale's agent I'd be telling him to keep schtum as the exposure is priceless, EVERYONE is talking about him ATM, you can't buy that kind of publicity.

There are no words (or smileys) that would be able to describe how upset I would be if Bale leaves this window.

As of last night Soldado to #THFC not done but getting v close. People at the club starting to worry big time about Bale now too

Levy says it would take a ridiculous offer to sell Bale this summer and still insists player not for sale. Bale wants to go to RM though

Personally, I think we've seen this before and Bale will stay but up to Levy and Joe Lewis as feeling is RM will offer more than £90m

He's happy to stay and not doing a Modric/Berbatov...but he does want to go to Real Madrid

Can't see it happening, just wouldn't make sense. Also, who would believe that a club is willing to pay a zillion one season but you have to take that or they won't try and buy you again???

RM have lost the plot.

I agree, and have always been of the opinion that it won't happen, for all of the reasons that have been mentioned on here before.

If the information is true and they've actually said these things then we should cut any and all ties and never deal with these terrible people again.

We can't let it reach a stage where they owe us including the Modric fee about £70m, and then can't make the payments on time. We'd have to go through the courts having lost our best assets for peanuts, to get compensation. It would be a farce that could cripple us in the transfer market for a few years. No way will Levy let them have Bale on lay away.

I personally think that Bale needs his head seeing too if that what he thinks. Who in their right mind would want go to club as ****ish as RM.

Levy needs to fuck RM as soon as possible and needs to make a public announcement tied with a reporting to EUFA and if that doesn't work follow any other legal avenues he can take.

This shit needs to stops, end of. It is not the beautiful game anymore it is a lying, greedy world of selfish ****s.

I still think Bale is happy to stay for another season, just dirty Madrid tactics.

For Levy to do anything he'd want a couple players with good sell-on potential and and a chunk of cash and maybe a blow job from the prez's wife just to show him who's the fucking boss!

If Bale has been tapped up by RM, which seems a given, then I can see Levy doing exactly what he did with Modric and Chelsea, by refusing to do business with RM and keeping hold of Bale for at least one more season.

So which one of his posts came first? 'Head turned' or this?

[edit] can someone get rid of this habitual 'spam' merchant please. There's no reason for this post to get 'spam' on it.

Madrid just do what they always do. Try unsettle players and forcing clubs to accept a lower fee when the player wants out.

Disgusting behaviour and i hope levy thinks enough is enough and report madrid, or at the very least refusing to ever deal with them again.

I'm guessing the project isn't impressive enough for Bale :cautious:

Can't help feeling he owes us one more season, if he was to stay and Soldado is to come; he could help fire us into CL and leave us in good stead for the future.

Also IF the 'now or never' part is true and that's turned his head; is that indicative that Bale doesn't have the confidence in himself he can elevate to a higher level - Jump ship when your stock is highest etc? Because if not that's a load of shit; you're telling me if he banged in 40 goals next season Madrid would not come crawling back for him, with even more money clenched in their grubby little hands.
