It's been said many times on here but the most realistic candidate to replace Redknapp whenever he does leave (and my preference if a 'marquee manager' is not available) is Owen Coyle.

Such a huge gamble. Very little experience and he's not pulling up any trees with berltun.

Lovely if it's a genius move but the potential consequences, if the more likely scenario of him not being up to par happens, can set this club back not just immediately but for yrs to come.

This is working on the assumption that we have to replace Redknapp. I don't want to get rid of him. Coyle's done well at Bolton I think. Who would you want? (assuming we won't get Hiddink , Mourinho etc.)

Damn you, damn you to hell for asking me that. Not a scooby. I'm not against Coyle as an individual, just that he would be such a massive gamble. Had he got the Bolton team to win more than 1/3 of their games, I might be more enthusiastic. It just doesn't striker me as anything that great. A good job for sure but to suddenly propel him, after a single season, to managing a club looking to compete for the top 4?

I'd like Rangnick myself, if Levy does give Harry the elbow. I would prefer Klopp but trying to get him out Dortmund might be a little optimisitc - he's building something very special there, potentially. Shame Shalke pounced on him again immediately after he left Hoffenheim. He's got good experience, speaks perfect English and isn't that old.

Maybe we could see what that new wunderkind at Porto does this season. Either way, not sure sure we'd get a really big established name to come to us with the financial restrictions but then again there are only so many jobs.

We're on a par or a little better off with the likes of Roma, Hamburg, Lyon, Atletico et al so we're not exactly a poisoned chalice. For a young up and cummer to have us on his CV wouldn't be outlandish or in the realms of fantasy at all.

I couldn't suggest any foreign managers as I have very little knowledge outside of the big boys. From the realistic Prem candidates, only Coyle would satisfy me (or Ancelloti, but I don't think he'd come)

harry has a plan and he wants to see it through and his plan is leave spurs with a replacement and Sherwood is his protégé, but Harry does not run the club and Levy is a crafty dog, Levy has plans and if harrys fails then Levy will bring on plan B..

Actually there a few of us who know a spurs fan, who is driver of the rich and famous and he somehow gets the scoop and then he tells us a few weeks before it happens so we can get a cheeky bet on. He has been sitting on this mystery name ever since Harry was put up on charges, the guy is adamant he knows. He nailed the Ipswich, Keane appointment! So Levy has his plan.

No Levy was nut to allow Commoli to impact Jols ability to coach and develop the squad. Harry has only undone what the mad Ramos and his nutcase D of F completely screwed up.

Harry sold Bent and kept Pav .. great idea,

You guys are all nuts

Redknapp is the reason we're doing so well. If Levy had brought the striker we needed we wouldn't be complaining. As usual he tried to gamble for a bargain on deadline day and it blew up in his face..

Levy offered Harry Suarez but Harry dithered then said no so I fail to see how it was Levy's fault on that count

Can we all just forget this Suarez incident? It's two months old now and we should all forget it and move on and stop :bang:

Seriously?

You think we are gonna sack Harry and go get Mourinho or something? You lot are mental, and if you were in charge we'd be fuckin Newcastle!

Harry has done an incredible job with this squad and his buys have been fantastic.

People quickly forget where this team was before Harry? Now we are playing Madrid in the CL 1/4 finals whilst still in with a fair shout of 4th place in the league.

Absolute madness, you want to keep players like Bale and Modric, I'm telling you sacking Harry will quickly changed their minds about THFC.

People talk tactics and "managerial masterstroke" look at where we fucking are! That IS the managerial masterstroke you divs!

You wanna talk about the elite teams, they play in massive stadiums and pay their players ridiculous wages. THFC have a small stadium and pay wages within our means.

I firmly believe that only Jose Mourinho or Sir Alex could get more from this group of players than Harry....and they are legends!
