Crucially when he scored all those goals last year it was Clinton that was setting them up... I think with Son, Clinton and Chadli next year providing assists he could have a field day if Kane is given some rest... Not very strong in the air it would seem - but knows where the goal is.

somehow you managed to leave out our three best creative players, Lamela, Eriksen & Alli.
Unless you're assuming he'll just play cup football (squad rotation players) like the others

Never pay that much for a back up to Harry

We don't want a back up, rather need someone good enough to compete with him for a shirt. Or to play alongside him when for example we find ourselves behind against a park the bus and break team. There's at least ten of them in the league.

I doubt Levy would dig this deep when there are younger options in the 15m tops bracket.

Really good player. Would be an extremely useful addition. Can play as a wide striker or provide competition for Harry. exactly the type of player we should be trying to sign and would allow us to move on Chadli

Spurs of old would never pay that much for a backup striker, but we're different now. Bags of new TV money, large new stadium on the way, challenging for the title, practically guaranteed to be in the CL next season, with a successful young manager.... why not?

This guy used to be a wide player, but got put through middle. I can imagine him playing as on the left-hand side as an inside-forward. He would be a far better option than Son & Chadli.

Not sure if someone like Lamela would be dropped to accommodate him because he's not coming for a spell on the bench.

That's precisely what Lacazette is. He's also 24 which is a perfect age and offers a versatile front man who can play anywhere across the front line. He has a fantastic work rate and IMO is exactly what we need as a rotation option for Kane or anyone else up front.

Would be an incredible signing. Probably the best attainable option out there for us. Quick, scores loads, presses like a motherfucker, already said he wants to come to the Premier League and we have two of his former teammates to tell him how damn awesome we are.

the Chairman and enics m o do lend lend themselves easily to such high value deals. Id be very pl easantly surprised to say the least...

Moreover, you could argue that the sky 5 all need strikers this Summer...

I really hope we either buy him or St Ettiene's Dembele or both but that's just being greedy.

I feel Chadli may want to leave at the end of the season due to lack of opportunities and these two, in particular Lacazette would be an upgrade.

Dembele would be an investment for the future but one with Alli's potential of becoming a super star.

The signing Lacazette would be a massive statement. I hope it's true.

He has the pace, strength and technical ability to be one of the league's standout players.

Would love Lacazette, I feel it would really give us multiple options up top then with the mix of Kane, Lacazette, Son, Lamela, Chadli, Clinton.

And we will need these options next year with 4 competitions. Get him in early and our business would be pretty much done, just shift a few deadwood and then if anything presents itself then fine but other than that keep the squad together.

Ah yes; the clearing of the deadwood.
that traditional Spurs summer sport.
Getting harder.
Might have to lop off a few healthy branches this year
