The reason our defense is fragile is because TS wants Rose and Naughton to run forward leaving a weak Kaboul and an inexperienced Bentaleb exposed. Sandro not 100% match fit.
It seems to be 'all attacking' intentions but all to just aim at Ade and no enough movement or creativity.
Chadli playing well but both he and Townsend on the right, our left side exposed and weak. Most goals against us have been through that left side. Opposing teams see the weakness!
Why not send Chadli to the left...Townsend on the right and Eriksen behind Ade.

They were so lucky for their goal, it really fucks me off!! it truly does.

Weve been Lots off huff and puff without the final bit of quality. I feel this side is one we could build on, theres a few little errors here and there but its probably the best weve played since the toon game. I'd like to see Bentaleb Stop the backwards passing as it breaks up the flow and we have to start over again and its given them chance to get back. i'd like to see Soldado on for Townsend moving Eriksen right and Chadli left.

We couldn't look any less dangerous. Teams know they can let us have the ball all day long and we'll just pass and pass and pass and pass and then lose the ball.

Bentaleb is poor. I'm not convinced he has passed the ball forward once. That dummy at the end was laughable.

Crying out for decent crosses from the flanks. Wish bentaleb would pass forwards it may keep possession going side and backwards but we need creativity. Oh merson just said were the better team

The alternative is playing the Brazilian international who has 4 goals and 2 assists in league play and has the talent to get you a goal in a big game, like he has for the biggest national team in the world. You also might like to throw on the only player who's won you a match in recent times, who also happens to have had a hand in about 10 league goals this season. Or we could just persist with Bentaleb and Townsend and virtually guarantee we don't score.
The Brazilian international who's has got worse and worse as the season has gone, who's lazy and doesn't put in for a tackle? And can he play 2 positions to take the place of both Townsend and Bentaleb?

Bentaleb looks out of all sorts, Chadli our best option going forward, and Naughton has been solid. We have to make this possession count and at least get shots on target. but 442 too early could get costly. Lennon is a must for the last 20 minutes to hit their fullbacks who are both on yellows, lets hope he is up for it.

Not sure if serious...

0 goals 0 assists in his last 20 odd games suggests VERY STRONGLY otherwise

Do Spurs fans just revel in misery too much? I don't see how you can go through this season and not think that that first half was an improvement?

Some signs of encouragement for sure. Chadli and Eriksen are the only ones that look intelligent going forward I'll admit, but before the game I thought only Eriksen was capable of that.
Not sure about an improvement Seems the same as all season to me. Poor defending and no end product.

Every time they cross the half way line I'm in panic. That really is no way to be, but that's how it is for me. Got abs no confidence in the defence and that now includes lloris.

We are just too slow, especially from defence jan dithers way to long.

Kaboul and rose are just terrible and jan should be playing left back when everyone is fit

can't believe people want Chadli off. Is the guy a permanent scapegoat now even when he plays a decent half?

Especially Sanga............either leg would do for me.

BECAUSE PAULINHO HAS BEEN SHIT RECENTLY.

Is this the first game you've watched in weeks? Paulinho has been fucking woeful for a while and deserved to be dropped.

It doesn't matter if he's scoring 80 goals a game for Brazil, he has been poor for us.

If merit is in any way a criterion for who gets selected, then he hasn't deserved to start.

Not sure if Arsenal are simply letting Spurs have so much possession as they know Spurs are unlikely to create many, if any, clear cut chances. Possesion ways at least Spurs are doing well but they lack penetration and at the back Spurs look very suspect. Kaboul has lost some of his pace and though Rose is doing fine going forward his final ball is lacking; and why he keep falling over so often?
Townsend is his usual self: good dribbler but no delivery. Bentaleb has not left any mark on this game, so far.
Chadli's done well, and Naughton is a totally different player when playing RB as opposed to LB.

We have not done bad so far. But we are really missing a player who can spread the play more. But we don't have one. What has happen too are club.
