You can't change the dimensions of a pitch. They all have to be the standard size unless your stadium build cannot accommodate it. Premier league rules. Not a lack of balls.

Lamela is still out and we will probably not see him in his prime for a long time. Barkley will be out for several monthis. We need someone who can make an impact now. Also, Alli will miss the first three game in the CL.

I am not convinced by Barkley tbh and I don't think he is the answer personally, hope he proves me wrong if we do get him though but again, he seems like a player who would slow the pace down.

This team, the one thing it lacks is a player with pace and power that will drive at a team, Sissoko was supposed to be that player and so far he has been a huge disappointment, a very bad signing imo.

I think it's against the league's rules on standardised pitch sizes. We were given an exception for the Lane as it pre-dated the rules.

It's a game we should have easily won. Burnley stood off us most of the game and allowed us to do what we wanted. Through sheer carelessness we dropped two points. Totally unnecessary and easily avoidable.

I'm not at all unhappy with signing Sanchez (very happy in fact) but can't help wonder whether the money might have been better spent elsewhere.

I was hangry but I've calmed down a little since having some food.

The season is not at all lost after an indifferent start but the club have got four days to decide how are season can pan out. That performance (and many other Wembley performances) have highlighted our short comings.

As great as Toby and Jan are they keep getting caught flat footed on this expansive pitch, now this could and should be cancelled out with the use of Sanchez. But I still have a feeling Poch needs to alter the high-line in someway. We shouldn't be so open after taking the lead or equalising. I simply don't trust that system on that pitch.

The full backs. We are now in a situation where we are resting so much on the arrival of Aurier - god knows how we will cope if that doesn't come off - due to our inability to push the opposition back and recover quick enough with Davies and Trippier.

Barkley may have been a difference today as the lad does try to glide past players and make something happen, however he will take time to settle into the Poch groove, so I don't see any immediate impact from him.

Which is why it is absolutely imperative we bring in a wide forward who has the ability to pick a pass, stretch a defence, score goals and generally cause havoc for the opposition defence. We seriously lack movement on that pitch and someone who can keep the opposition occupied or prevent them from pushing up with confidence.

I'm really disappointed that we have failed to address these issues as they have been clear for such a long time. I just hope Poch realises that we are not the same team on this Wembley pitch and alters it accordingly.
