I hate these sort of posts before a match, saw plenty of them before Everton last week.
I will take a win, any sort of win and if we don't I'm personally blaming you vertongHen

Yep. There were also loads of these sorts of posts prior to the last game of last season away at Newcastle and that went fantastically.

I see a draw Personally might take a while for us to get going.

That was one of the major reasons our challenge for the title last season, was one we were never fully in the driving seat, i believe we didn't win any of the first four games, we simply cannot start this season in the same fashion. The manner in how we pick up wins right now is irrelevant as performances will improve game by game, but we must pick up wins.

think it'll be 1-1, we will dominate, lack in concentration. palace will go 1 up, we will pounds them, equalise in the 73rd min, and then the game will fizzle out...... ah the optimism of a spurs fan.

These are games we have to win and whilst anywhich way is acceptable i do think a good performance is needed

If we dont win we should just quit football and pack shelves in tescos

Morning everyone- another SC match day beckons. Hopefully I won't need the Samaritans on my speed dial this afternoon. I hope we show Palace the right kind of respect by absolutely pounding them from the word go.

Do we go with the same team, or do we try two upfront with Janssen starting?

Personally, I think its academic. Vince certainly made a difference, but I think having people getting into the box was the key and, at times, an attacking trio of Lamela, Eriksen and Alli, with Kane dropping deep to get involved, can make it very congested centrally and does not see anyone running in behind the opposition.

If we start with just Kane, lets make it a 4-2-1-3, with Lamela and Alli pushed right up, giving Eriksen space to create. Kane is told to stay in the box, and the responsibility for service comes from others as I think Palace will sit quite deep against us.

Hit them hard, get a couple of goals, then cruise to a 4-0 victory with Janssen scoring his first for us.

I reckon we'll win, Janssen scoring a blinder in the process (y)

I hope Janssen scores, he is what I saw and hoped for regarding his attitude, teamwork and work rate and why I was perfectly happy for him to be our preference over Bashuyi

On my way to WHL, the start of a long goodbye to the wondrous place. Let's make today the beginning of a fabulous and fitting departure.

Palace will park the bus. Spurs will struggle to break them down. There will be a few moments of heart in mouth as they attack with speed on the counter.

On paper we have the best team by far, but I worry they will up their game massively as they normally do.

I still.fancy our chances but we'll Need to be a bit creative, not just hustle and bustle. 1-0 spurs. Eriksen free kick.

I am Australian and I was in London last week for the first time.. id booked my Europe trip 5 months in advance and was spewing when the fixtures showed us away at Everton . So I thought I'd do a tour .. made the mistake of thinking I'd be able to book a stadium tour on late notice. All booked for my week long stay :( . Please enjoy WHL for me !!

:(
Remarkably, this will be the first Spurs Premier League match I've ever been to.

But I feel I should tell you guys that the last Spurs match I went to was the 0-1 defeat to Palace in the FA Cup last season.

Sorry in advance :(

Cool man! Hope you enjoy it. The first league match I ever went to was in 1978.:( Such a good atmosphere at PL matches and hopefully we'll give em a spanking. COYS!
