Damn, missed it as I'm working out in Pennsylvania this week. Hope we were good and that my dad recorded it...
Still only 18, going to 19, is scary how he could just grow his game...Looked really dangerous last night particularly as he is rapid. Huge potential but should have really made the game his own considering how often he broke
I'm sure it's probably been mentioned here, but Aubameyang's finish for his non-goal was quite exquisite; and in general Dortmund are a great team to watch - hopefully we can both tank Real and proceed to the knockouts...

He'll be off to Bayern then.He is some player
He is some player
He'll be off to Bayern then.
rotation, rotation, rotation. Son also looked knackered after the game so good to have a fresh Dele Alli back at the weekend.
Dunno why but some of the punditry on the game annoys me.If this was Athletico Madrid vs Dortmund, people would be saying what typical strong Athletico performance.
Instead I've heard some pundits criticize our defensive work, insist Dortmund are still clearly the better team. Without stopping to think if our defensive work was bad what does that make Dortmund?
Ultimately we rode our luck on occasion. But apart from the offside decisions they had only one serious chance which was from the corner, when we were already 3-1 up. The other chance was the Pulsic one where he stretches but cant make clean contact. That was a half chance at most because of pressure he was put under, it would of taken an incredible ball to put in a position where Pulsic could get clean contact.
We defended well, very well largely. We created more chances almost all of which pretty clean cut. Dortmund were not actually all that good. For all the pretty passes they were not that effective at breaking us down and were so exposed at the other end. Tactically I think we did very well, and I think today we've learnt a new way to play against a certain kind of team.
Didn't hurt that they were missing two of their starting defenders including their captain. If they are back when we play at BVB, I would expect a little stiffer test.
They were great the first 25 minutes in attack. So quick, technically spot on, moved the ball well. Better than anything I've seen from premier league clubs in the last year.
I know what you mean but night games always have some early leavers, people have been at work all day and have to be up early for work again in the morning, add to that the queues to get to a station and it is bound to happen, to be honest it was always going to happen at Wembley.I'm sure its been mentioned already but I can't reconcile the fact that the attendance was around 17k down on the Leverkusen match last sseason and the same as Burnley - i assume this must be due to the rules around selling to non members this season - disappointing and surely cannot be allowed to happen for Real Madrid? Even more disappointing was the mass exodus in the last 5-10 minutes. I really don't get this, being someone who never leaves early I understand the traffic /travel issues ( got home at 1 am). but it is really poor after a performance like this for the players to go off to a virtually empty stadium.
