Don't be so harsh. Everybody knows that going to a wedding disables your scrollbar.

I missed my own wedding on Sunday to go to the game for that very reason

CL qualification two season ago did not bring "quality" to the squad in any way shape or form. FACT

If CL is/should be the "most important" thing this season (or last, or the one before that, or the one before that) why has Levy NEVER improved the squad when Spurs were i the top three? FACT

Your right comparing Spurs and Porto is indeed irrelevant. One club wanted success more. In case your still guessing which one it's the one with the silverware in their Trophy cupboard. FACT

1). So VDV wasn't quality ?..? You really think he would of come if we didn't qualify for the CL that season? Furthermore, as you know Eden Hazard stated he would of been a THFC player if Chelsea hadn't qualified for CL by winning it.

Champions League Qualification = More Money & Potentially Better Players.........surely you can't dispute that?

2). We aren't Chelsea or City, we cannot afford top players by being in the EL or finishing 5th...........there is no magic pot of gold under DL's bed. Will the transfer budget be more with CL or EL?

3). Which one wants success more.......not sure about you, but I remember THFC when we were dodging relegation season after season, being mid-table merchants was a relief after that! How can you not say where we are now is not success compared to where we have been???? (& I don't mean 1961).

2010 was a 'dream' year for most Spurs fans, the giant finally awoke. I for one want to be back in that competition with the worlds best teams, attracting the worlds best players, using those players to garner success in the PL, FAC or even the LC! ........not ponsing around in the EL, however shiny the trophy.

FACT: Spurs have lost 4 out of the last 5 PL matches AFTER a Thursday night EL game.

Tell me that the EL campaign is not hurting our long term plans...........

When fit he was o.k. and often was subbed to to running out of gas. The Special One knew when to get rid. So did AVB.

Like i said Levy didn't run out and buy anyone "better" AFTER we qualified.

The pot was big enough to bring in one of the best keepers in World football, and to get 30 odd million for Modric. 30 million plus the sale of players this season is quiet a nice pot of gold for any club seeking a top four finish.

3). Which one wants success more.......not sure about you, but I remember THFC when we were dodging relegation season after season, being mid-table merchants was a relief after that! How can you not say where we are now is not success compared to where we have been???? (& I don't mean 1961).

Sussess like the sucess Wenger has brought to Arsenal? That would do me fine. We "dodged" relegation only a few seasons ago. Again by getting rid of a manager who got us to fifth place. Jol, Ramos, Redknapp, AVB. How many roll of the dice does Levy want? And we all wonder why we are not successful?

Then Levy got rid.

"Ponsing around in the EL" is in actual fact the level that we are at, and have been at under Jol, Redknapp and now AVB. Your illusions of grandure are fine on paper. I thought the away leg of the EL against Inter would have shown the Spurs current squad for about what they unfortunatley are.

FACT: Spurs have lost 4 out of the last 5 PL matches AFTER a Thursday night EL game.

We have a squad tutored under AVB. If he decides to play the same players week in week out the that's up to him. Time and time again he has said that tiredness is not a factor. CL footie has a similar demand, so whats new?

This is the first time ever I've seen anyone call VdV "okay" purely for the sake of saving face in an argument, just going to lol at that one :D

Why did RM get rid, and why didn't AVB want him?

You can laugh all you want but VDV has no pace and was injury prone. Again you over-estimate a players ability. You should get out of the SC bubble if you think otherwise.

Widley known that VDV was a one trick pony.

Nice assumptions there (y)

I will keep laughing because you're wildly over-exaggerating to prove such a futile point in an attempt to prove yourself right, think you need to calm down and re-asses your posts before clicking the reply button tbh

Or you can keep telling yourself that VdV was an "okay" player, you never know you may even convince someone on here, your choice.

Your right i guess, The Special One got rid and so did AVB, what the fuck do they both know about a player? I guess that they should be bowing to your superiority to recognise such a talent.

By the way i am not trying to convince anyone on here about anything, and i don't need to prove myself to you or anyone else. Personally i don't give one fuck what you think. Now that, i don't need to convince anyone of.
