Did anybody get any more than 6 selections right ? Looks like a shop window team to me.
Lamela could have a big game today. He will be playing for the 1st time (?) without Eriksen or Chadli so he will have complete freedom. I would have not played both Dembele and Capoue and I have a feeling one of those will be subbed off for a striker. Hope not. Hope it works.

This was my prediction:
--------------------------------Lloris--------------------------------
-----Chiriches---------Dier-----------Fazio-----------Rose---
----------------------Mason-----------Dembele------------------
----Townsend---------------Paulinho----------------Lamela--
-----------------------------Soldado-----------------------------

Subs: Vorm, Vertonghen, Yedlin, Onomah, Winks, Adebayor, Kane

8/11, forget about the bench :D . I am on a run. 10/11 on Wednesday.A few times more and I want a new nickname, The Prophet

That is impressive. 5 out of 6 in the front line and I would not have predicted 2or 3 of them!!

I doubt it. Lol

But hopefully Townsend does well on the left and decides to play for the team, starts getting round the full back and becomes an assist machine... That would be progress IMO and highlight what Townsend can actually bring to the team FROM THE LEFT.

You never know. ;)
Townsend is a right winger.

5 of today's starters are fro the 7 we bought when Bale was sold One more on bench (Eriksen) and one on bereavement leave (Chadli)

The only thing that scares me is Ade not playing... Poch may be planning to play him at 9 again against Sheffield...
If he does, Kane has to play at 10 and Eriksen left, meaning chadli or lamela on the right?

Anyway, back to today's game... COYS!!

yea my american follower just told me on twitter they have two friendlies because the CONCACAF moved up olympics qualifcation 6 months.
Seems odd, but I think that says Chiriches is going nowhere, and that Yedlin is not ready to contribute here. Maybe everyone just wants to get him some game time.

Expecting some first time crosses from Vlad.

I presume Lamela is the main creator.

I disagree. He is left footed and should play on the left. He has been played as a RWF, but he ain't too productive on that side, hence my comment.
I will bet my bottom dollar he will be playing on the right where he has been playing during our recent successful run. However with Lamela starting I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit of chopping and changing today.
I am actually quite excited about these 2 playing together.

looking at Spurs line up, I do not feel that Poch is really"going for it" today... :(:blackeye:

Kind of a fools errand - guessing where he will play - given that the AM3 generally switch during the game

Last thing I want is a draw today, genuinely think I'd rather we went out today than have to play a replay...but think we'll scrape it with another 2-1 win! COYS!

Well, if Leicester can't score, they are doomed for relegation...

Kaboul is playing which is a disaster, Fazio is coming back after a few games out and playing alongside him which means he will look bad, Chiriches is a right back and playing next to Kaboul so he will look bad.

Only hope is that Dembele plays so many sideways passes that they never touch the ball.
