Overall I was very disappointed, very slow start.

Dembele played well, but it is not his position long term.

I thought our defence played well despite some shaky moments.

Also felt Townsend could have come on a lot earlier for Lamela.

In attack we were poor and meant we were under more pressure than we had to be.

I'm sorry but the elephant in the room for me is our transfer dealings that have left vital positions in the team short of options and these are being exposed right now.

We could be top if it wasn't for our crappy transfer operation.
we do have a shitload of injuried/suspensions though. dier, son, mason, bentaleb are all big misses. especially son as that would have meant we wouldve been able to take off kane.

Macamacamannan was saying we need to get back into CL and 4th place, Harry said MP doesn't have the quality of player he had and was lucky to have Bale Mods and VdV.
Harry was right, Son, Lamela and Eriksen might turn into great players but they are not there yet.

I'm sorry but I don't agree at all ! Every game he's played so far I can't see what he has to offer. He gives the ball away all the time, can't beat a man, can't pass and never looks likely to score. When we needed to buy a quality striker we paid 10 mil for a player who will be gone by next season. Another poor buy without any thought I just wonder who actually watches these players if anybody does.

Started very shakily but when he got into the game more his link up play was pretty good and he showed some good touches. His shot from range wasn't bad at all and it would have been an absolutely sublime finish from inside the box if it hadn't been matched by an even better save.

Not first team material yet but I think he's got a lot to offer in the future and had a reasonable impact toady.

So, so happy we could grab a point today. We are playing against the best team in the world, so a draw is very, very acceptable. We even created 2 big chances against them. If it wasn¨t for the world class keeper they got at the back, we even may have nicked a win here. But hey, we have Kane. It´s not like we have Vardy, Callum Wilson, Ighalo in our team.

I thought we played well. Just unlucky Mignolet had a good game.

Mignolet did his job, he made one really good save from N'Jie in the first half but he isn't the reason we didn't win, poor finishing is.

missed opportunity, poor performance, average result .... Dembele outstanding, Kane worryingly poor, Lamela woefully poor and I think it's safe to say N'Jie ain't ready to start a PL game

The more I see of Njie the clearer it becomes he was bought to develop over years rather than months. Makes our failure to sign a first team ready striker even more criminal.
Lol I thought he played well once he got in to the game. Had an excellent shot well saved and generally worked hard.
