HEY UK GUYS! it's 11.30PM, go the hell to sleep and forget about the match. You all have that luxury! I don't! It's 10.30AM with me, I have to go through the rest of the damn day.
WHO?
Capoue? I don't know whether you watched the game but he came on and was pretty much the same as Dembele.
I'm sure the manager is massively embarrassed but you should be looking at the whole picture and assigning blame on the players and levy and co. Not just the manager... If you really need to blame someone. We actually got back into it after a shit start and were in it up until the sending off without playing that well... Manchester City are operating on a different level at the moment. If they turned up. Which they did. This was only going one way. Open your eyes.
He is so so so bad.. No awareness and weak as piss, get rid and fastJust back from the game.
Siggy was really really poor. I didn't realise how tactically unaware he was but tonight he was totally unable to pick up his man and track runners. Failed to do basic things like stay goal side of Zabaleta. Actually quite shocked and alarmed.
Same as usual then....Just back from the game.
Siggy was really really poor. I didn't realise how tactically unaware he was but tonight he was totally unable to pick up his man and track runners. Failed to do basic things like stay goal side of Zabaleta. Actually quite shocked and alarmed.

Oh aye and I'd have happily taken any result with both hands and had a smug little chuckle. Just that, the slight bit of buggery aside in the end, I'm not devastated by this loss. Sending offs aside etc, I feel we were simply beaten by a superior side on the night. It's not a result that will weigh on my mind at all.
I hope the appeal is successful but I'll not hold my breath tbh, such is the FA's laughable track record and consistency on the matters to do with the officials' performance in games.
There is a temptation here to castigate some of the Spurs players and management for this result but while they are not blameless there are other factors:
(1) Man City are the best side in the league.
(2) We were hindered twice by the linesman and the second bad decision put the game out of reach when we were still very much in the game.
(3) Sherwood made an error in playing Sigurdsson ahead of Capoue. He should have moved Eriksen, who was ineffective in the middle, to the left and played Dembele higher up the pitch - and away from our own goal. But hindsight is a wonderful thing!
(4) I think the 6-0 defeat had some form of influence on our confidence going into this game. We were scared to be on the ball for the first 30 minutes.
(5) Bentaleb and Dembele as a midfield partnership has flaws and better sides will exploit it. They're both very left-footed.
(6) Injuries to key players has not helped. I think Sandro, Vertonghen, Townsend and Paulinho would have made a difference. Whether that would be enough to get a result, I'm not so sure...
Not surprised to hear someone who was at the game say that. Only watched it on TV tonight but I think I heard his name mentioned twice the first half. Completely anonymous - and people were calling Lennon anonymous - WTF was Siggi?
On a brighter note, how good was that Lloris save...like WOW.
Tottenham Hotspur is no club for an insomniac my friend. I'm sure you don't need reminding.I'm an insomniac, I've a good couple of days to go yet...
We can argue that the ref (or linesman really) killed the game, but once again we've shown that we don't have players who stand up in the face of adversity. A couple of bad decisions and we more or less throw in the towel.
A 2011/12 vintage Scott Parker, for example, wouldn't have let that happen. We need to unearth some leaders.
All the decisions that went against us was unlucky, but correct by the book. The offside was ruled correctly because Adebayor touched or tried to touch the ball. The penalty was awarded correctly because Rose touched the heel and maybe also the knee before he got the ball. The sending off is always harsh in these kind of situations, but it's hard to argue it wasn't a goalscoring opportunity.
However, with another ref those decisions would have gone in our favour, and then the result could have been different. City deserved to win anyway, and at least Arse is not top of the league anymore, we've made sure of that.
