Why is there not a whimper from the Ade haters about Eriksen's inclusion?
Because they are Ade haters not Eriksen haters

(Which says it all really, more concerned with hating Ade than with a genuine interest in the best for the team)

It's not about hating, we don't know the person so it's hard to hate someone you don't know. It's about wanting the best for Spurs, and Ade isn't performing at the minute. We'd all like an Adebayor in full flow, banging goals in, but we've been here so many times before, the lazy, uninterested player.

Give someone else a go.

As I sit pitch side with my usual optimism it does strike me that we have been here before with Ade. But the truth is when he is out of the team it is not long before we are gagging for him to be re-inserted into the lineup. The reason is that there is nobody else who can hold the ball and Poch obviously realises this.

This expression is constantly used and it really fucks me off.

Just because people question certain selections doesn't equate to hate. Not just about Adebayor, any player.

Then why are some posters wishing injury and in some cases illness/death on him?

its actually a good point, Kane has had some of his better games playing in the AM role.

Bu we, collectively, like Eriksen, and don't like Ade right now.

Poch will only have himself to blame when he gets sacked! Idiot. Playing Ade when he clearly shouldn't be. How many managers is it gonna take before Levy gets Ade out of the team. He plays soldado in pre season behind lamella snd co and doesn't lose then Ade just slots in. This Club fucking stinks.

Did you not see Soldado's hold up play against Besiktas?

I'm very excited about this one! I'm still well on board Poch and I think we are developing into a better more determined side, but It might be a bit a journey yet. But, we are in the right direction.

I'm looking forward to watching Mason again and I think Eriksen is a chance of producing some gold again. Capoue is building nicely and becoming a key player, Chadli too is improving every game and looks a deadly finisher, could be crucial today, has a nice ability to end up in the box.

Lots of talk right now about our strikers. I think Kane deserves a start, Adebayor has looked pathetic all season and should be scratching around on the bench behind Soldado in my opinion. Why is Adebayor being given the chance to play through his bad form if Soldado isn't?

Because we've had years of Ade deciding whether he feels like playing or not

And Eriksen was our best player last season. Adebayor was good for two months when Sherwood took over and even then he reverted to his usual couldn't-give-a-toss mode for the last couple of months of the season.
