We seriously need to get some defenders in the January window. I feel for Lloris.

At least it is abundantly clear what effect the manager has on a side. AVB was too fearful and defensive, but Tim is clearly a total amateur. I'm not convinced he's going to learn from it either.

Why do ALL other top teams with 2 man midfields have a defensive + box to box/CAM combination, while we think we can come up with some new and exciting formula and do away with the defensive player?!?!

Chriches and Chadli have been shocking. I hate playing with no defensive minded central midfielder too. Having 2 'ball players' in Eriksen and Holtby hasn't really offered anything more in a chance creating sense at all and because of that it's just like we may as well give the back 4 a bit a protection in the shape of Capoue.

Sigurdsson has been OK I think but Lamela has to come on for Chadli IMO.
