Vlad needs time to learn. Still only young. He would not be playing if we didnt have so many injuries at the back.

He needs to just play simple balls and not try to play too much at the back.

Over doing it.

Needs to settle down and do a solid job first and foremost and the opportunities for flare and expression will come.

Cart/horse.

I counted 5 suicidal times Chiriches gave the ball away completely exposing the rest of the defense but hey why not pick on Dawson, he's an easy target.

Oh no, I know Chiriches is playing horribly, I said so in my other post, just didn't see the point in repeating myself..

Worrying thing is Ramsey is supposedly helping with the tactics, how can he be so highly thought of... If this is the dross we're turning out.

One end of the spectrum was the authoritarian, rigid AVB, now we're at the other end with Sherwood, a bloke who seems to think he's juggling his job as an electrician as well as managing his son's U14 team.
There is no way Tim would turn over the tactics to Ramsey, given that he's the manager and the buck stops with him. He's got too much pride and ego. This is very much a Tim team.

It's not like we were failing under AVB, just needed some flexibility and adjusting.

Now we're just the opposite and need to adjust in the other direction.

BAE would truly walk straight into this team and improve it on the spot... :stop:

No. Rose>BAE. One has been playing 1.5 straight seasons of PL football. One has only played 1 half a season of PL football and a half of championship football. One joins the attack, the other mopes around far from the attack. Rose should stay first choice LB. Sell BAE to QPR and bring in a proper LB cover. Maybe one that plays for the team that wouldnt alienate his own teammates and one that actually trains hard? Yes, that'll do.

Oh well, let's not bash Tim for his selections. He is still an amateur and he will learn from his experiences and mistakes. I don't think it can get any worse than AVB's selections. I seriously think we are overrated but with the money spent, we are compelled to play well and get a good result. I will be happy with 3 points regardless of our performance. However having said that, we need new defenders in January. School boy defending is simply unacceptable.

I know it wasn't going to plan but it was clear AVB had a plan or a philosophy he wanted to implement... All we've heard from Sherwood is meaningless rhetoric. I worry he has no real plan on how he wants us to play.

Bale left and we fucked up, Should've got Dempsey back on Loan.

Be careful, your about to get tons of hate just because he's American. Like it or not, Dempsey would have added alot to this team. He actually has a knack for goals and gets into the box. Unlike anyone else on our team.

Siggurdsson will never make it as a wide player. He's just not it, he can't dribble, got no pace, one-footed, that he consistently starts as a wide player for us either in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2 (!!! lol) is just baffling. Might aswell stick some random youth player with pace there cause it will be more of a threat than Siggy has ever been out there. And don't get me started on how he drifts to the middle every fucking attack (aswell as chadli today) so eriksen and co get squeezed ou.

And it wouldn't even have to be a random youth player with pace. If Chadli can go left, we can have Fredericks who looked good last week. Siggy would be better in any other concievable midfield position than as a 442 winger.

I do think he's allright as a wide forward. Goals, impact, arriving late, balls through retreating backlines occasionally too.
