This is such bullshit. So by your logic Guardiola was only successful at Barcelona because he inherited some of the best players in the world.
Why was Rafa Benitez successful at Liverpool?, here again, he inherited the best players and backroom staff that Houllier left behind. If it was bullshit, surely, it would not have happened twice at Porto and Liverpool.

No i'm deadly serious. AVB was only successful at Porto because of the players he had at his disposal. The same as Guardiola only achieved what he did due to inheriting Messi, Xavi and co...

avb had a spell at academica before he went to porto. he did well with a relegation squad to get them playing attractive football and finish in the middle of the table. that must mean for something
