Are people really complaining about team selection? That team has a number of players who have played plenty of minutes this and last season, should be good enough to beat a team 3 levels below them at home.

I understand it, and know why it's been done--don't even disagree; it is just clear that the lack of cohesion and understanding is a factor. We'll still win this one, but it will be less comfortable than we may have expected.

It's not all about wanting it. It's hard to show your quality when you're lacking competitive football, and when you haven't played together as a team much, and established slick combinations.

You do have to question some of the fringe players attitudes in these situations they should be well up for any chance given, regardless of the opposition, game, cup etc etc - its a big chance to stamp their name/claim a stake for further chances.
