Save the sentimental stuff for a player's retirement years and let him become a host in the stadium's restaurants or hospitality suites.1. Why should we care where he goes.
2. Who cares if he’s Spurs thru and thru. You can’t keep people at the club for sentimental reasons.
Levy often overestimates the amount of money he can get for a player. If an experienced and savvy DoF/GM type of person says a certain player will fetch a certain fee, but no more, then the football person's more likely to be right than someone like Levy is.This is where Levy goes wrong. He thinks he can get 20m for him if he’s under contract instead of just letting him run it down and go. In so doing, he won’t fetch that but he will then be impossible to get shot of given his obvious (to everyone else) limitations

Adds a few quid onto sale value…. Hopefully
I really don't agree. I can respect his attitude and the fact that he cares but if the ability isn't there then at the top end of the game, you'll get consistently punished. Which he does.
Possibly, but it's his lack of ability that is his real flaw.I dont think his mentally tough enough
Perfectly plausible but seeing as DL has now lost his football advisory it’s now all on him to make even more crap decisions without any accountability.Levy often overestimates the amount of money he can get for a player. Yep saves Levy a few quid .....Are we actually doing this?
