I honestly didn't notice! Anyone got a side by side comparison to demonstrate?

How about a happy medium? It was so low.

And I have an old sky box that is cutting out half my picture at the sides. Anyone else got that?

No. Sounds like you have the box set to force a 4:3 picture ratio. Either change it to 16:9 or 16:9 letterbox or even auto. If you have a widescreen TV it should be set to 16:9. This will be in the settings menu under picture IIRC

Whaaat? Please tell me every game isn't going to be like that? Eek

I'd imagine so, mate. I have always really loved the camera angle at WHL, it gave the best picture in the league.

However, don't take my word as gospel - I just asked a techno geek and he mentioned that it is the most obvious reason.

Angle was really irritating initially but soon got used to it. If i remember right before the East Stand was developed the camera angles used to be maybe a little bit higher than last night and certainly not as high as we have grown accustomed to in recent years. That took some getting used to also in the beginning.

You can definitely see the advertising boards better in the lower angle... :-|

Sounds like you're watching it in the wrong format ratio. Check your sky box settings are on auto, and it should change automatically to 16.9 or to 4.3 depending on how the programme is broadcast. (Not many in 4.3 though now). If that doesn't solve it, you can change the format on your tv to accommodate it temporarily.

Yes the old angle pre 1990 or whenever it was, was the best of the lot, about perfect really. This one was a bit low last night and the current regular one is a little bit high if truth be told. Remember - the middle way is the best way...
