I've given up banging on about how we need a striker and a back up GK - cos to me it's too late now - we had a great chance for 4th - but we've blown it

so if ENIC don't want to splash the cash now - i'm not particularly worried

still be nice to win the FA cup - so i still hope they do - but i don't feel so tensed up about it now

I just don't buy that at all. We're still in 4th place, and it really is up for grabs between us, Villa, City and Liverpool. A big signing like RVN could be the difference between 4th and 5th/6th. Its going to be a fine margin for any team that makes 4th spot and we can't give up.

People forget we have had some really poor results as well, like the Everton game, we could have been well out of Liverpools reach by now. I think when I look at it (and maybe it is because I am a spurs supporter with a spurs perspective) but when I look at the season so far - if I take a quick look and do not analyse to much, I think to myself - We have had a great start, Liverpool have had an awful start, and City and Villa have done okay!
What does this mean to me - well, it means I think Liverpool and City will get better, and we will probably get worse - and Villa will do average.

And what does that mean...............

For me the Everton draw was more annoying that the Hull one as we were two goals ahead and still had a chance to win the game with JD's penalty. We didn't score a goal against Hull due to poor finishing and great goalkeeping.
