It would be quicker and easier to list the world footballers those baby-blue expletives don't want to sign.

They're worse than chelsea, even those gits had the hilarious habit of hijacking every other yanited transfer at the 11th hour.

Does seem a bit extreme. Gazza did his ligaments and the recovery was far more hit and miss 20 yrs ago (OK so cruciate as opposed to anterior but the point stands). Seemed to muddle along well enough after that injury.

Maybe Rossi has lost 5% of his pace etc or maybe he hasn't. He might be a bit more prone to niggles later on etc but to claim he's damaged goods right now is a little previous for mine.

Hey, maybe we can see how Affely recovers too and get him on a free or summat. :)
Rossi main strength is not his pace, its his movement off the ball and his passing and the fact that he is one of the best finishers around, so unlike players like Torres he does not need pace.

I think that despite his injury his finishing quality is so good that if he becomes available at a reasonable price teams will be queing up to take him. I don't see us matching what a team like Juventus will throw at him.

Great player and I'd love to see us go for him, but I've got a feeling that Fergie might just try and take him back to United to replace Owen & Berbatov.

OWF may well try but would Rossi want to go back?

I think that option expired when he signed a new deal at Villarreal.

I'd quite happily have a striker clear out too. id like us to keep Ade as I think he suits us, and is a next level striker who can score against both the big and little teams.
i think Rossi is a good option but as stated it will be interesting to see how his injury has affected him if at all.
I still like Llorente, i still like Osvaldo, and as a wing/forward option i like Remy. Obviously i'm not silly enough to think we will have all of those players at the start of next season but i think we play better with a strong powerful centre forward who can hold it up well, thus why Ade has worked for us.

Wish we'd taken the plunge for Osvaldo. Loved him as a player. Like Berbatov with power. A mini Ibra if you like.

On 25 November 2011, Osvaldo was apparently angry with Erik Lamela after not receiving a pass during the 2-0 defeat at Udinese, and was fined and suspended by his club for punching team-mate Lamela in the face.

ha, further proof he's a mini Ibra! Least he didn't start throwing scissors around the changing room I guess!

Let's not go for overpriced players. Let's go for french/africans. I really hope we can keep Adebayor.

He's re-injured his knee, out for another six months.
